I'm yet to receive an email from the club and I'm a trident member, so it's a pretty ordinary customer service experience with less than a business hour to get stuff sorted out if I was reliant on the club sorting it for me.
Anyway, regardless, I worked it out for myself. For anyone else that hasn't received an email from the club with your barcode, you can login to your membership account if you have a username and password via https://membership.melbournefc.com.au/. Your barcode will be in there from the membership details tab.
Good luck getting your tickets, Go Dees!
Thanks Bonkers. neither my son or I received the emails with the barcodes. have received all other emails though. Did what you said and now have the barcodes ready for tomorrow. thanks again Go Dees

It says on the game day information that there is no schuttle buses to metricon today. why would they do that. it is over 2km walk from Nerang station.

Is Sparrow with the squad? Im guessing not: we left 12 behind and only 13 haven't played a game this year.
Yes he is with the squad. but to bring him in for Melksham is a dumb suggestion. Melksham is important. may not be playing at his top but is still contributing.

That's nice nat missing pretty much 2 years of footy with a knee injury just to be clear..
Jack Didnt play much last year with a broken leg. Lets not make excuses

Watts has played 174 games . Nic Nat 167. He has averaged 15 disposals a game over his whole career.
There is a strong chance Jack will end up a 200 game player. Thats a pretty good effort. He has copped a lot of flack over his career, a lot of it unfair. If we had of taken Nic Nat in the draft he probably would have headed home after a couple of years.

Amazing how the lawyers have moved the focus from Laidley to the copper. most contributors have forgotten all about Laidley and are jumping on to bagging the copper and Victoria Police.

The world has gone mad. there will be more deaths from the flu when it starts arriving in the coming weeks. all the media hype is doing is creating panic and destroying our economy. some states are allowing spectators and some arnt. Unless we all hide under the bed for the next six months nothing will be achieved.

Thrashed?
Wow
Grundy 14 disposals, 6 marks, 30 hitouts 1 goal. Gawn 34 disposals 5 marks 33 hitouts. Max had a great game. unfortunately the rest of the midfield did not back him up.

Gawn has been a giant this year, but got beaten a couple of times by a taller, stronger opponent
Hickey gets under his skin, as did the big boy from Freo (name eludes me right now)
Grundy has beaten all his opponents
Gawn thrashed him on Queens birthday. How soon we forget

we signed Goodwin for another three years. We dont have the riches to sack him. So the only option is to do what Richmond did and replace all the assistants. expect more to go before seasons end.

I believe appointing Rawlings as coach of Casey was an excellent move by MFC. All players who have gone back have shown great committment to Casey, and all the young players have shown great development. I am satisfied that the leadership of the coach as been very beneficial in this great atmosphere at Casey. Go Dees.

I have been tipping on the AFL page as well as the MFC web page. Last round when I checked the results I found that one of my tips had been changed from what I submitted. It was the Fremantle/Carlton game. I tipped Freo and the results said I tipped carlton. I was annoyed with this but just accepted it and moved on. This week I find that three tips have changed from the ones I submitted, namely the Collingwood/Carlton, West Coast/Essendon, and Hawthorn/GC. I tipped West Coast, Collingwood and Hawthorn. The Tips came back as Essendon, Carlton and GC. One in my favour and two against. I sent an email to the tipping people and received the usual response. "we have thoroughly checked our site and there is nothing wrong with it" , In other words they say its my fault. They also say they have received no complaints from any one else. I now have 83 tips instead of 85.
My question is has anyone else had a similiar problem with this tipping. The same tips submitted to the Melbourne Football Club have all been listed correctly. I am interested to hear from anyone else tipping with the AFL/ Thankyou Go Dees

I was a big Jack Watts fan, and was seriously [censored] when we traded him. So today's performance tempts me to rail against Goodwin for trading him, and a little of that still remains.
However my real frustration is reserved for Jack. Why did it take being traded to perform? If you truly loved the club then you would've shown it on the park for the Demons.
So if I hear any comment from him this season that 'he always believed he was good, and just needed to be given a chance', then I will lose it.
We gave you many chances, and you chose to take it for granted.
So the overriding feeling I have now is one of betrayal.
take your blinkers off mate. Jack Watts played his normal game today. Difference being he is appreciated by coach and team mates. Don't forget more than 70% of our supporters wanted him to stay. Jack did not leave the Dees, he was sent packing. I enjoyed watching him today as I always have. We have to concentrate on our team now , so please don't bag jack

Rot setting in or not, it was the right decision. Frost himself admitted that his form was down, and you only have to see the work Salem has put in over the off-season to see that he realised he needed to do more. As for Watts, well we know what we know, and when he was dropped he deserved to be, he was playing like shite.
with due respect that is rubbish. Those three helped to get us where we were at the time. Simon Badloss panicked and dropped all three. I was very confident when I seen the team last night. Tonight I still think we can win but am concerned with final selection.
-
Leaving Tyson out is a strange decision. We lost games last year at the selection table. When they dropped frost. Salem and Watts late in the year at the same time was when the rot set in. As I have said before I don't think we can play Fritsch and Hannan in the same team. Maynard is strong and in and under but he is not Tyson. Maybe brayshaw's teeth keep him out. I still think we will win but strongly believe Tyson should be playing. Missing Viney, Mcdonald andTyson is a lot of skill to cover.

I not sure there is room in this team for both Fritsch and Hannan. I would be playing Fritsch and Bugg. Maynard has probably done enough but so has Billy Stretch. There will be some very disappointed guys today. However these hard selections are good for success.

I was at the official team photo day. Dom arrived with ice strapped on his calf. so report that he did it on Saturday a bit rich.

And Simon Badloss will throw is hands in the air and yell "Why of why did I sack JACK WATTS"

Do we need one?
Mitch King & Filipovic are developing true ruckmen.
Frost & T-Mac are capable of giving brief periods of in-game relief. I'd expect O-Mac & Weideman to be developed to be capable of this also.
you have more confidence than me Mach5. King and Filipovic at best are back up ruckmen for Gawn. OMac may prove to be a good forward, Weideman may make it but will never be a back up ruckman. Someone mobile like Hayes could develop into a taller forward/ruckman for when Pedo retires, and play in the same side as Gawn. I really think this is an area where we are lacking. We still do not have much size over 195cm, as a lot of sides have. Ben Brown, two metre Peter and others still cause us problems . I would love to have a good tall floating forward that would give us that same pressure.
Why Melbourne Must Hire a Coach to Solve Their Forward Woes

Im interested to see how Mcqualter goes with the midfield after replacing ooze. our midfield is star studded however struggled most weeks to get first use. improvement in this area will make a vast difference to our forward line. of course fresh ideas from a new forwards coach would also be good
