  1. Fritsch holds the ball dead straight and still above his left leg, walks in slowly but builds in speed the last 3-4 steps and kicks over the ball straight with a straight drop and a straight follow through. It's not rocket science

Yes I know he sometimes gets the yips, but this is exactly how everyone should kick for goal

WTF goal review ???    Rushed behind and no suggestion that CFC kicked it and blind Freddie could see the it was ay over the line.  Madness.

Wasn't it pointless whether it was over the line given the Saints player touched the goalpost with his other hand...

  3. Sorry to go off on a tangent but...

I saw something recently about the 1993 season and how Dunstall didn't make the AA team after kicking 123 goals

That year Modra kicked 129.61 and Ablett 124.60 (from 17 games!) and only two key forwards were selected as AA

McKay won the Coleman last year with 58.33. Crazy how the game has changed - sure they were legends of the game, but the forwards in the game now can't be that bad!

Are you talking about the group of about 10-15 mullet haired boys of around the 18-20mark? If so, I noticed them at there freo game and they were definitely there purely to annoy demons members. Not one of them had a scrap of freo gear on

A group of only 4-6 boys similar description were at the pre-season game against Carlton. Barely remember them even supporting their own team as they were clearly there to bait Melbourne fans, saying all sorts of ridiculous crap loudly.

Sadly it's probably more indicative of how some young boys or men behave in this day and age than actually being the same people...

  5. I feel for Chandler as it was almost a perfect tackle, but his momentum and the direction of the tackle instigated the WC player being driven into the ground. Although he let go before impact unfortunately it was too late and the bloke just wasn't aware the tackle was coming, which made the chance of head impact more likely

  6. Big collision and hope the bloke is ok, but fascinating seeing the crowd's reaction in the background

Bald bloke in front doesn't blink an eye. And reckon the bloke circled is the Carlton fan that Oliver sledged a few years back, but grew a beard and moved to Sydney
