  1. Yeah they were a pack of flogs tonight, but the Trengove one was there, paid against Newman last week.
  2. What a game from him though. Won't get anything as the player he tackled got up, [censored] he could piledriver a player into the ground with the maximum amount of force, but as long as they got up he would be fine. It was only because Dangerfield's lights go out with any sniff of head contact that he got 3.
  3. Yeah I thought Nicholson was sub in his first game as well.
  4. I did not boo him, but did laugh almost every time he had the pill, ribbing the richmond supporter beside me. Glad he's not taking games from youngings at the dees. Lovely guy though.
  5. Gaz tried to stir the boys up who were watching, as it seems we only play well when responding to a media bake. He wants us to win.
  6. Jack led Vic Metro for possessions today with 23 in their 10 point win over Perth.
  7. Morton back with the flight again! Every time he does something like that it makes me want him to stay.
  8. Gysberts out. Nicholson in. Not ideal
  9. Sorry to be a bother but can someone give a brief run-down on what happened?
  10. Although I'm absolutely stoked with the Gys, Fyfe is a deadset star
  11. Morton holds his spot, definitely played his role on Shaw on Monday. I would assume he'd play a similar role on Hill this week? I also think Petterd showed enough in Casey to suggest he has the hunger to play against Fremantle, he is far too much talent to be be wasted. Garland I'm not sold on, didn't look too right for Casey. Tapscott similar to Garland, I have serious doubts he would walk into the side after a injury forced layoff, he has only played a handful of games... Jamar I would love back, but Martin and Gawn seem to be holding their own, and will do fine against an Sandi-less Fremantle. Besides, after watching Fremantle playing against Essendon, they had a third man at almost every ruck contest, something Bailey will have to adress.
  12. played club football with him and school against him, not going to follow Dad's footsteps but a nice player who moves well and kicks a couple of goals, loves the melbourne footy club though
  13. Oh nick off will you, I don't mind people criticizing his commentating but outside of the box he is one of the nicest men I've ever met.
  14. Pendlebury one is definitely tricky. Collingwood will be favourites for this years prem and most likely next year, but will they burn up after this? Pendles may be thinking I can still win two more premierships with the Pies, then scoot off to Sydney with the $$$. On the other hand, Collingwood would have many under the table deals which would ensure Scott has hefty payments outside his contract. Just interesting he only extended it 1 year, knowing full and well GWS will be going for broke in 2012. Oh yeah and Scully, he'll stay.
  15. Dammit someone beat me to it, but anyway: THE GOOD: MORTON GOING BACK WITH THE FLIGHT Never thought I would see it with my eyes, but thank christ the boy proved me wrong. Proud of you Cale. And of course all the boys tonight. Go dees.
  16. Two points 1. IF Malthouse were to coach the dees next year, by god that would be weird for both him and Maric. Very hypothetical however. 2. Anyone see Luke Ball's trip on Kerr? Is that not cheating as well? Intentionally grabbing an opponents leg?
  17. Selwood Fyfe K. Jack Bad call on the guy who said Selwood is not in the spirit of the game, typifies the toughness of our game. Not his fault that he goes in the hardest and the others who come second give away frees. Amazing player, watch the game against Collingwood.
  18. Trenners just picked the wrong bloke to tackle, Dangerfield goes out like a light when anything goes near his head. I reckon that Goldsack got hit just as hard, but bounced straight back up.
  19. Anyone watching Geelong Pies? Varoe just pinned both Goldsacks arms and slung him to the ground, Goldsack got up straight away.
  20. Just saw it. FFS Grimes must have done something wrong to the big guy upstairs. Poor bugger.
  21. May I ask why everyone has such great hatred towards the Footy Show? I know it's not top-line football reporting, but most AFL fans should reap some enjoyment from it.
  22. Get over it for gods sake. He's entitled an opinion as well as anyone else.
  23. Shoot me down if you wish, but I believe Joel Macdonald is a must. Never shirks in attacking the football, and I cannot help but be inspired by his efforts when watching. Hardness was one of many things missing on Thursday night, yet is central to a team's chemistry. Perhaps J-Mac sprinting back with the flight and getting crunched could send a rocket up many players behinds to do the same. Petterd also I believe is too skilled not to be in the team, I remember holding my breath last year as he dived recklessly into packs.
