  1. There's just no way Clarko would leave the Hawks, he's got them back playing top footy again, and will go close this year and closer next year with Gilham, Roughead and Stratton coming back. As for Malthouse, pretty ambiguous. He's said he won't coach another team next year, but I doubt he'd stay at Collingwood with Bucks running the show. I reckon Rocket's up there at the moment, we should chase Chocco Williams though, love his fire.
  2. +1 , there are some players you can tolerate being disrespected, but McKenzie and Trengove? Nah uh, Trengove would walk into any team, McKenzie most of them.
  3. Yeah, but don't take too much of Cale's gym time away. God knows he needs it.
  4. I hope we don't discard him at the end of the year (which I've seen a lot of posters suggesting). I was watching some old videos of last year, and boy could this kid light it up. He also seems to spur Liam on a bit, which is an added bonus. But Aussie when he is up and about is incredible, and could be the perfect small forward in years to come and would have plenty of crumbing oppurtunities with Watts, Howe, Cook, Jurrah and Martin/Jamar up forward creating an option. I think our forward line in 2-3 years will be very unique and difficult to match up on. And I love Jeremy Howe, fark do I love this kid.
  5. I definitely think Gaff is a target, would definitely have thoughts of going home and being a melbourne supporter could be persuaded. We'd have to give up a lot though.
  6. 6.Howe 5.Petterd 4.Macdonald 3.Frawley 2.Garland 1.Trengove
  7. Nah if they give Green the boot I'll be severely dissapointed. Strip him the captaincy sure, but give him another year. Look how Sam Mitchell has responded when Hodge took over, it would give Greeny a bit of much needed fire.
  8. Hahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahhaahahahahahaha. God this is fantastic, <3 Trenners, and of course Tappy would follow. Big news about Maxy as well, mits off Richmond.
  9. Like how Sam Isles goes about it, perhaps if he knew he's not in front of Gold Coast's star studded mids he might be temped to leave? just thinking
  10. Go on then, explain to us all how this bloke has done anything right as captain this year. I think he should remain on the list next year, but if he serves up games like he has this year, feel no remorse in dropping him.
  11. Exactly Rusty, the fact that Nicholson, A FIRST YEAR PLAYER, was the only one to help Dunn in anyway is just disgusting, and just reflects poorly on the club. I don't understand why you wouldn't run in to protect a teammate getting beaten.
  12. Robinson and Armfield need to be sorted out. Some may view it as childish, but I don't think it's acceptable for them the slag off the nature of the club. Send them a message, especially that squib Armfield, he doesn't have the right to comment on the toughness of any club.
  13. Gives me a little hope for the rest of the season. Hopefully he can grind some grunt into that disgraceful, insipid school team that pranced around on Saturday. I hope there is a massive culture turn at this club, and Todd could begin it with more focus on winning the contested ball, making tackles count and standing by one another. I can safely say the most disgusted I was on Saturday was when Nathan Jones watched on as Chapman smacked around Dunn. God that made my blood boil.
  14. Christ ease up will you? He's allowed to vest an opinion in a club he cares very much about, but he is very secure with media commitments and trying to provide for a family, labelling him a sniper is way out of order. I don't think Gary will step back and allow this joke of a club to self-destruct, he will get more involved and hopefully bring in some people that give a [censored].
  15. +1. Don't reflect badly on the supporter group boys.
  16. Send one of the compo picks and a bate/dunn/any other spud off to port for Boak.
  17. Thats what I meant sorry, Watts was just way below his previous weeks, but it's understandable as it was completely not his sort of conditions, he just looked absolutely wrecked after quarter time. Speed was out, and his attack at the ball was a bit tentative. Should bounce back next week.
  18. Surely Morton hits the ugly column. Replace him with Watts in the bad section, wasn't his game at all tonight but lacked effort, was often on his ass. Loved Sylvia, was a warrior tonight, Petterd too was magnificent.
  19. Relax on Scully for gods sake, how many other second year players cop a heavy tag like Kane Cornes? Would like to see how Trenners handles that.
  20. Cassisi shits me, every time he is tackled he flops onto his stomach playing for the push in the back. And of course Chad Cornes will play well, has to be against us. Now the misery's out of the way, playing alright against a woeful Port side, but we are letting them doing a few things waaay to easy.
  21. Yeah I guess, I just don't like the certainty from these public names, because I know a lot of people will never believe a thing that comes out of Steven's mouth should Scully stay, even if he does blame it on dodgy sources.
  22. I don't think journo's would risk their reputations so much by coming out and speaking so surely that he's gone. Wouldn't their credibility be crushed if they were wrong here?
  23. If Toby Greene dropped down to us I would be very very very surprised. But also VERY VERY VERY happy, loved his game the other night, also destroyed Xavier College singlehandedly round 1 of the APS this year, kicked 4 last quarter goals with two of Xavier's best running with him. Gun, and a clutch king.
  24. Liked the mongrel shown by Viney. Loved the class of Tyson, silky mover. LOVED Toby Greene, baby faced but a killer, just racked them up.
