  1. Be warned of big Russian coming in at number 3 boys, made me cringe
  2. Thats him at 20 seconds isn't it? Well sign him up, could be a star.
  3. If we get Greene I will be ecstatic, kid is a star
  4. Thought I'd snaffle an exclusive! Saw it on the melbourne afl page of all places. I'm pretty stoked, he's a player that has made the absolute best of what he's got, a large amount of that would have to be reliant on a clever football mind. Chemistry with Neeldy as well, the 2011 off-season keeps producing!
  5. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/124548/default.aspx Looks like we've locked up Leeroy boys. Thoughts?
  6. I can't comprehend the stupidity of these Richmond supporters. Some of them actually think that we will delist him at the end of the year. Quote from PRE blogger "Don't understand, he is 5 weeks away from most likely getting the chop, he wants out, he wants to come RFC". Just No, no and no.
  7. I thought they were all brilliant, Trengove especially. He was dancing for a good two minutes before the act actually started, I was wetting myself.
  8. My love for trengove has increased exponentially, he was that funny tonight. Anyone see it?
  9. Spot on. The main consensus seemed to be "Get in or Get out" towards Garry. But having Garry for a few months is so much better than not having him at all. Is busting his gut to stabilise this ailing club, and solely based on coaching appointments and removals I am excited for round 1 2012.
  10. Kongwacker, I honestly didn't think Tomlinson was a standout. Looked a bit slow and lethargic at times, and cost them the game with that shocking kick attempting to come back in side out of fullback. Toby Greene- Man crush, been saying it ever since he tore Xavier apart for Wesley. Kicked 4 in the last quarter with Xavier's two best players hanging off him. Dom Tyson- Scott Pendlebury Mark II. Strong in the clinch, clever handballs and amazing user Jack Viney- God was I impressed with him. Relentless at the football, and I cannot wait to see him do it in the Red and Blue.Everything he did typified courage, one incident where he just backed back into a pack, got crunched by a player 20 cms and 20kgs bigger, yet bounced up and tackled again.
  11. Nice little insight to see how Neeld operates with his players, lets hope this scene can be recreated next year with them both in red&blue.
  12. Yeah plus 1, it's a bit of fun, and they normally have some pretty decent exclusives or interviews for the serious footy nuts. I don't mind it
  13. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/123889/default.aspx Thoughts? I hear a lot of negative things about Royal on this forum, is this the right move?
  14. Woah, what happened to Demonland. Wheres the new banner!!?!?!?
  15. Hahaha I hate him as well mate, but you can't question his attack on the ball, and I think Jack has a bit of that in him.
  16. Woah woah woah, are you voting Davey for captain?
  17. Yeah I agree. Scully never shirked, always went for the hard ball. I remember him frequently backing into packs to mark or spoil, wearing hits from players double his size. Those questioning his attack on the football are just ignorant. In saying that, Viney will be tougher. He just has one of those mindsets, similiar to Mitch Robinson.
  18. God that made me smile. They really rated him didn't they?
  19. Allus as much as we'd love Chippa as a skipper, I do think being able to front the media representing your team is an aspect of being a Captain, and this is something our poor Chip is completely incapable of. I cringe whenever he talks on radio or TV, he bumbles and is really unclear, always mispronouncing words. Trust me, I love Chip as much as anyone and he is in my top 3 favourite players, but I don't think he's suited to the bustle of captain. Definitely a VC, doing all the work around the club thought. It is a hard call though to pick isn't it. Beamer- Seems to slaughter the weaker teams, yet finds it tough going against the contenders. Also has the drinking indiscretion against his name? Trenners- Would be my pick, smooth on the field and handles himself so well in the media for a youngster. But is he too young to take the helm? Grimes- Great leader around the club and solid on the field, but just can't string together games. Chip- ^^^ as read above. Watts- needs to string together another good season.
  20. Okay boys, have a geez at this one for size. The year 2017 has just completed. The demons have just notched their second premiership in three years. Tom $cully is sick and tired of being beaten pillar to post for the rabble GWS, being belted by over 100 points 67 times since they entered the league. His performances alone have been exceptional, winning 5 best and fairests, a clear outlier for their team. He expresses interest at coming back to Victoria, and nominates Melbourne and Richmond as the teams he is interested in. After the hurt he has delivered to our club, would many of you consider opening our arms to accept the callous player to aid our tilt for our third premiership? Or do we allow him to walk to the dirty Tigers, our only real contenders? (Just a bit of fun in the off-season I thought) ;)
  21. We won't get him, Gold Coast offering pick 4 will trump us all. Makes me sick that GWS will have picks 1,2,3,4,5 in this draft.
  22. Lock it in, Neeeeeldy. Is there any truth to the rumours that he developed Collingwood's press?
  23. [censored] completely forgot he took them to top 2 positions in his first two years, but not being able to take them to a GF in both those years is slightly worrying. I'd be content with those two, seeing as Malthouse looks unlikely.
