  1. I thought the same about Trengove. I still think he has tremendous leadership ability. Let's just let Viney worry about his footy first and learn a thing or two from the past as Bob has suggested. I have no doubt Jack Viney will skipper this club one day.
  2. The Wizard of Oz was on New Years Eve, jazza.
  3. So can you switch the sports package to movies etc for a given period?
  4. That fellatio king, Mark Robinson should be on his hands and knees to Gerard Whately after each show of 360 showing his gratitude for giving his sorry arse some relevance. The problems with all these shows is it's just jobs for the boys. If the network actually put some time in to host and commentator selection for once it would do wonders and eliminate most of the ridiculous school boy antics they call content.
  5. Can't wait for the footy to start.
  6. Many thanks for a well written reflection on 2013, WJ. May there never be another one like it.
  7. You really gather your evidence, don't ya.?
  8. Maybe the real answer to that elusive small forward is to target and draft a dwarf. However, the thread title can lead someone to think that we've actually got a benchmark to rate the kid by. I was at the first session the draftees trained and was impressed by the young bloke. Watching a runt like Neade at the Power this past season gives me confidence that someone of JKH's size and his attributes shown at training will be as good as chance any to play in the firsts next season. Don't expect Roos to throw him to the wolves, though.
  9. Bennel upgraded, Morton delisted. I would've thought it'd end up the other way around. Either way, we are better off without them on the list.
  10. No, but there is the AFL itself.
  11. I would lmao if GWS put Scully up as trade bait at the end of next year. That would be my sort of justice.
  12. The train-wreck is just about complete.
  13. Such a pity his intent didn't match the results. With peanuts like Mbeki and Zuma following in his wake it was always going to be difficult to anchor any real change.
  14. Condolences mate. Wishing you the best possible for the hard yards ahead.
  15. Most here couldn't give a flying.
  16. I'm quite attached to my jumpers so I can see why PSD didn't hand it over. Plus, they probably would've met him out the back of the bar with claw hammers afterwards to get their hard-earned back.
  17. It was inevitable billy. Always happens when the topic centers around indigenous Aussies.
  18. Have another kid mate. Get another run out of it.
  19. Okay. I'll apologise right now as I've obviously offended some people. Almost everyone is touched by this dreadful disease. Only today, whilst I'm in Vic, I've visited my cousin who is 37 years old and absolutely riddled with it. She has a son who is 4 years old and he has no chance for a sibling because the doctors have removed everything from the inside of her in order to limit any chance of it spreading. She still has tumours growing, still on chemo and who knows what other drugs. She looks like she's 60 years old, as thin as a rake. She's a beautiful woman who's in a battle for her life. In much deeper than Dean Bailey. In hindsight, sharing an opinion on what causes cancer was not right. Connecting it to footy related stuff, not real smart. Once again, apologies.
  20. No offence Pal, but in an anonymous forum like this I'll take Googles credentials over yours.
  21. Not my intention. I wish him all the best and won't debate further.
  22. Of course they do. I'm not trying to be clever or stupid chook.
  23. Google "stress and cancer" and read plenty.
  24. What? Cancer is directly related to stress. The tanking saga reignited by Anderson would've played a huge part on his condition.
  25. The amount of stress this bloke has endured has started to take its toll. Thanks Mr Anderson.
