Pretty definitive proof of the giant myth of the key forward and their impact on success
Efficiency is King, speed kills, and hopefully our trade & draft period reflect that thinking....!
I knew it was a terrible mistake letting go of Mitch Brown.

Cheating umpires unfortunately.
Maynard clearly took him high.
Even letting the Daicos boys kick it OOTF.

No way Murphy isn’t concussed.

First goal - Zac Bailey
Norm - Pendles

Quite the dichotomy this…
Head injuries are generally bad, concussions end careers and affect the long term quality of life of some players.
However, on this occasion, it would be cathartic to see that bozo knocked the [censored] out in the first quarter - if not the first five minutes.

Hahaha.
Chris Scott having a whinge about the AFL draft concessions and manipulation.
Was more than happy to accept Jack Bowes and pick 7 from their little toy project club GCS last year.
Don’t speak with your mouth is full, Chris.

Would love to have the money some of these clowns betting on this award have.
No worries mate. If you’d like to private message me your bank account details including your pin code that would be wonderful. I’ll deposit funds. Thanks

I’d rather we try and change the list when it’s not up to scratch than just sticking our heads in the sand.
Besides which one of Harmes, Grundy, Hibberd, Laurie, Jordon, Dunstan, D Smith and Brown would you consider as indispensable?
To be fair, you’ve essentially only listed 3 players in your list being Harmes, Laurie and Brown given the others have retired or want to go elsewhere.
So who are the other 5?

it all depends on whether those 2024 end-of-first-round picks are tradeable or not
if they are, then north will jettison them quick smart
because they wouldn't want to suddenly have 7-10 wins next year and lose em; better to use em this year
they're in the box seat to get gc17's pick 4, which means in addition to their own pick and the likely compo pick for mckay they're likely to hold picks 2-4 inclusive at the pointy end of this draft
it's the sort of compensation concession we would've killed for when we were a hot mess on field
It’s a little ambiguous the article.
No caveats on the picks (but the 2024 picks will be under review from the AFL) post 2024 season based on finishing position?
What have I missed here or has the report missed context?

Nothing less than GC first pick will suffice.
Now that I’ve had my Dodoro moment, I’d say end of 2nd/early 3rd rounder would do. Unfortunately for Nut, he doesn’t bring any skill set to the team that isn’t provided by others that should be named in the team before him (much the same as JJ).
We need to turn the list over if we seriously want to contend again, known quantities that haven’t got us there need to be cut adrift to allow for new/unknown talent to come through. I reckon up to 8 changes could/need to be made to refresh the list.
Up to 8 changes?
Known out the door for unknown?

Should the replacement come from within and be Chaplin? Surely the next step for him would be a Senior Assistant role?

McStay leaving the Lions for the Pies, blows up his quad in the Preliminary, potentially missing the GF against his old club.

Has this been a good year for the AFL?

Listening to Gil on AFL 360 the other night saying the league does whatever it wants is enough for me. Arrogant [censored] of a man.
ed: and I’d also like to raise the fact that this site is caving into censorship ridiculousness.
How the hell can fl_og be censored?
Please provide a vocabulary for me.
Fair dinkum. Loosen the [censored] up.
