Salem must come on now.
-
Georgiou bad concussion.
-
Love the kid!

JKH, such great awareness.
-
Indeed you are, BBP.
-
And to think I had him on the trade table of my Fantasy team yesterday. Decided against it and got rid of Chip Frawley instead.
-
I believe Roosy is having coffee with Tex Walker as we speak.
-
Get ready for the upset of the round. I'm tipping the Dee's to get over the line by a mere 3 points in a thriller. I'm hoping Salem will start the game and if so I reckon we'll see a rising star nomination today. Vince BOG.

I was told today from a mate of an AFL level field umpire who has links to the Fremantle board that the Dockers will do everything possible to get Clark on their list but will not pressure him.
-
Some posters thought it was a good idea with Mitch from memory.
-
Yes and no... He's playing his first year as a midfielder, he's had a couple of off games. We know the basic pressure stuff should be by job drummed onto the whole team as it's the cornerstone of Roos game plan. That's the disappointing aspect but he's not on his lonesome there... I've calmed down a bit now and after watching the game a second time I still think he needs to play this week against the Crows. Dropping him now could potentially have an even more negative long term effect. Let's remember, this is Roos project - not Jack Watts's.
-
Or we persevere, knowing that he has all of the skills and hoping that with time and peer support he learns how to get more involved, on a consistent basis. Roos, Stone and Matthews can only do so much.. Jones and Cross are Watts' biggest on-field mentors in the hope of him turning things around.
-
If Roos does not send a Watts back to Casey, then I will seriously consider not bothering to front up in front of the tele next weekend.
-
My exact same thoughts, BB.
-
The Eagles must be thinking the same about Nic Nat.
-
Indeed.

Isn't it better for the ball to be turned over 60 metres closer to our goals than only 20?
-
I guess so.From Brett Allison's report: Mark Jamar: Mark played ruck/forward. He had 10 possessions and 14 hit outs. Mark rucked strongly and gave the midfielders first use of the ball. Pleasingly, he was able to have an impact up forward in the third quarter, when he took two strong marks and kicked two goals, which were a significant contribution to the win. Mark should be getting close to a senior recall, I wouldve thought. Ed: 14 does seem incorrect when reading that "Mark rucked strongly and gave the midfielders first use of the ball."
-
See Gawn (19) and Jamar (14) hitouts from the VFL report are hardly dominating in the magoo's either. No wonder Roosy had Mitch pencilled in for the first ruck.

Hilarious that we were all singing Watts praise in the Garry Lyon FC thread only this past week. Now wer're bagging the shizen out of him for today's game. He's got the skills, but he's so soft at the contest it's becoming embarrassing. Give him one more seniors game to prove us wrong or back to Casey.
-
Posters in the past have been too ready to lambast him for his aggravating tactics. Personally, if I was in a team getting pumped week in, week out, I'd probably get frustrated as well. Arguably the most improved so far for 2014.
-
IIRC, Roos words went something like "Col has done the right thing by himself."
-
It could have quite well been Neeld instead of MM in that photo and the meme relating to the MFC this time last year.
-
I admire Natainuis courage when it's his time to go - no one can argue that point when compared to Watts. The void is as wide as the Grand Canyon. The noise amongst WCE supporters here in the west is the issue of him injuring his own team mates with sometimes complete disregard on how to approach some contests. I guess it's something he will get better at. The general sentiment of the thread is spot on though. Overrated. If the colour of his skin was white, there would hardly be the plaudits heaped on him so far. And that is in no way meant to be a racist remark.

Time to crack a stubble and celebrate my fellow Demons.
