  1. Logic would suggest Rawlings considering his time already with Roosy. He seems to have the respect of the players and the times I've listened to him speak he comes across as a person that engages. Surely he wants another shot at a senior gig?
  2. Well go ahead.
  3. If he says he'll only play for the Demons and everyone else can get stuffed then I reckon we're in with a shot.
  4. FMFD. This MRP system is one big circus. Let's hope Gill makes sorting this rubbish out a priority.
  5. Look, I don't doubt that what he did was poor form and deserved to be admonished. Conversely, you blokes who want to lay down and continue to accept the glaring disparities in judgement will only result in further farce by the MRP. Simply, this should be the push by not only MFC, but every club in the league.
  6. Richmonds medical report has stitched us up folks.
  7. That's a word I'd not heard for a long time"Piffle" Love it.
  8. I'll be surprised if it's not challenged. Copping two weeks for that is farcical.
  9. But it wasn't worth two weeks. It was only worth one at the most and should've been downgraded to a reprimand. Stop bending over.
  10. If the ridiculousness of these outcomes is ever going to change, it ain't gonna happen through lying down and copping it sweet. Appeal the bloody thing.
  11. Agree with all of what you've said. It was a clumsy act of frustration more than anything but we all know how the MRP works.
  12. I was suggesting that the Tigers, if called upon for medical detail wouldn't be saying there was nothing in it due to the fact that Rance appeared affected by Dawes action. If they said that, it would make Rance look like he made more of it than the reality. In essence, they would be confirming that Rance was acting.
  13. The problem will be when they ask for Richmond for a medical report on Rance. At the time, it took Rance 30 seconds to get his bearings and once up he fell again. I doubt the Tigers are going to say "nah, he was fine just a bit soft and tried to milk a free from it."
  14. I was listening to Grandstand when it happened and they (McClure et al) were pretty confident he'd get a slap on the wrist and a reprimand. Fingers crossed.
  15. I know we beat Carlton and Adelaide but it was this win today, that gave me a lump in my throat. It was a clear picture of the future of the club with some great young kids playing with confidence and enjoying themselves. I wasn't going to have a beer today. Stuff that.
  16. Quality versus quantity is the issue you've missed.
  17. Frawley will regain full fitness, have a few really good games where he dominates his opponents and all of a sudden this thread will turn into one where he's a keep at all costs player. I don't believe for one minute he's gone.
  18. Essentially it was a three week ban but with the early it was downgraded to two. Fair call I reckon.
  19. What are his contract details?
  20. I'm at beer deluxe.. The on-tap IPA should help me deliver sound judgement on umpiring decisions.
  21. Make sure he's skipper in your dream team then, Ron.
  22. Is there any particular pub Demon supporters hydrate at before the game?
  23. I tipped our 3 point victory last week so in an attempt to go two in a row: Dee's will romp home 8 points this weekend. Pedersen BOG.
  24. Action Jackson said that the successor will be in place by the end of this year however, I'm sure he wouldn't mind going back on his word and announcing that Roosy will be extending his contract. Although, whilst we all want Roos to stay on, getting a cadet on board as early as possible can only be a good thing and whoever it might be may need a couple of extra years. Lots of scenarios.
  25. I understood that he was the Back line coach and essentially had just as much authority as his counterparts, Matthews and McPherson in the midfield and forward lines. While it's common knowledge that he's the longest serving coach out of the current group, it's never been (to my knowledge) sold to the footy public that he's the most senior (or "lead assistant") as you put it and effectively Roos number 2.
