Sticking around for a premiership tilt.
-
I'm sure she used to run so much faster in years gone by.
-
That's a good point. Who knows how much it might dilute it... Securing Byrnes and receiving the compo for the two payers you've mentioned was downright pathetic and a blight on the supposed system. Still, I reckon Malceski would bring considerable footy smarts and experience compared to Chip.
-
Hawthorn have managed just fine after Buddy left without having to actually rely on looking at potential trades. Likewise, I can't see how Frawley hanging out until seasons end will stifle any plans for next year or the trade period. If he leaves and we land Malceski on top of a handy compo pick it'll effectively be an improvement if you ask me.
-
Apart from not playing him with the view of playing others, I can't see what you're upset about. Surely the club would have a strategy mapped out either way and should be well placed to put in effect. If not, Taylor et al aren't doing their jobs properly.
-
I'm grateful yourself and others have relayed it as I couldn't stomach that lot.
-
Not winning those close games is frustrating but the trade leverage (if we go that way) the earlier draft picks may yield could prove very important. It may mean the difference to actually winning those near misses. Easily a pass mark.

Club stooping low to agree to this appearance. I'll be well tucked up in bed and won't even bother recording this tripe. Right up there with TFS this rubbish.

He's in demand from multiple clubs. Doesn't that give him the right to say such things? I don't think it was condescending.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 18

If that was the only reason then why can it be used at any time during the game? The AFL put forward a dubious argument that it was to help mitigate injuries to players however it was disputed by many at the time that it was more about reducing congestion at stoppages. -
I will endeavour to improve my attempts at humour in the future.
-
There isn't an argument.
-
Fair enough but that's at international level. Domestic players salaries must be pretty similar to AFL players?
-
So why didn't they target a Soccer player in the way they did with K Hunt and Izzy F?

Which is a fantastic effort but geez he turns it over in the most frustrating of ways. -
I agree but my point was more about the lack of quality senior players that they can't attract.
-
The extent of his midfield role was really only on the wing. Watts should take a note of Barlows contested game to understand how a similarly built player goes about it on the ball.

Tapscott needed to do more last week to get another shot. Roos would be better of giving Michie more game time at the back end of the season because I can't see us holding on to Tappy next season. -
GWS are finding themselves in a cycle whereas their leverage during trade period is really only dictated by some of their better players wanting out. The greater majority of senior players they attract are guys at the ends of their careers. Shaw and Mumford were good pick ups but Hunt is hardly a long term player for them. For those three senior players, they lost Taylor Adams (Collingwood), Kurt Aylett (Essendon), Josh Bruce (St Kilda), Sam Darley (Western Bulldogs), Shaun Edwards (Essendon), Dom Tyson (Melbourne), picks No.9 (Melbourne), No.21 (Port Adelaide), No.22 (received from Melbourne, then on-traded to the Brisbane Lions), and No.39 (Sydney Swans). The really valuable senior players such as Buddy want to chase flags so no amount of money will get these players to GWS until they start getting some momentum. We might indeed trade our two early picks but all it will do is take the Giants back to where they started again by drafting in another couple of promising youngsters.
-
Welcome back, Ben. I've honestly missed you.
-
There could be a possibility that Roos wants someone with no previous runs on the board as an assistant. The successor without any pre-conceived ideas about how coaching this group as compared to another club (Neeld) may be a well considered strategy.

My younger sister lives out at Jindera. She knows Kirkies Mum so I'll get her to ask her.
-
So let me guess... If we get up and win this game you will never post on Demonland again.

It's July, the middle of the dry season. Very little humidity to speak of anyhow. Overreaction by the Dockers. I just think they're sh!tting themselves.

You will never get a job in comedy.
