MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 22

Hard to argue with any of this. Still, it always adds the perspective that our list is way, way under skilled and until these blokes stop getting games, we'll remain a bottom club. -

It's today mate. -
For me, the question is whether or not our much vaunted development team which now includes McCartney, can get Jimmy up to consistent AFL level or, whether the damage has been done. In my opinion, the onus, and the challenge, is with the MFC development coaches.

Reckon I'll be chucking a sickie on Monday due to catastrophic hangover.

I like it. It screams Roos call for the players to get angry and play that way too. Big Spencil will knuckle someone/s on the weekend and duly get rubbed out. I have the feeling this game will be rather spiteful. About bloody time. -
Good luck to him. I'm looking forward to watching him this Sunday.

Upset of the year coming up this weekend, old dee. Freo have hit a wall.

They're having an open training run this Friday at Subi which I'm planning on getting to. Looking forward to seeing and hearing some real enthusiasm.

On average, I get to see one game a year. If the MFC decide to rest 4 or 5 our best 22 just because of a "we're gonna get spanked" mentality then I might just throw in the towel along with the club. Taking my young bloke for his first game of AFL and if it's just a repeat of last weekend I'll be bitterly disappointed for my lad. Bring your best team and put in a decent fuggin showing.

There's every chance even at 2 yrs of age. Both my kids were shockers and it puts enormous strain on your performance at work.

Listening to Misson and the way he interacts with with Burgo during the weekly injury update makes me want to lose the will to live. I trust it's not the same level of enthusiasm when he's dealing with the playing group.

It's lovely weather over here in Perth today. I'm taking the missus and kids down the coast after the young blokes Auskick wind-up this morning. I'll tape the game on IQ and check in on here now and then to see if the game will actually be worth watching the replay. Let's hope Jesse gets on the end of a few. via Imgflip Meme Maker

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 21

Newton hits the scoreboard and has way more footy smarts than Bail and Jones. Happy to see him get another run at senior footy. -

Misson reckons Kent will play this weekend, obviously in the Magoos although I hope we get to see him again before EOS, as unlikely as it is. Out: H, Bail, Jetts (inj) In: White, Newton, Salem Going by Roos Views comments, Whats the best team that we think can [defeat Carlton?] Its a really important week for us to bounce back. Well pick the best 22 regardless of whether theyre from Casey, who lost on the weekend or from our team, which was really poor on the weekend, I reckon White will be a sneaky chance. Lamumba is horribly out of form and I reckon Roos can no longer persist with him and should give a run to a project player who's really been showing something.

Today, football is the winner.

Jesse says he's a pretty average golfer in that interview as well. Let's hope he likens the MFC to his golf game. Generally ordinary, sometimes downright terrible and highly frustrating but every now and then you hit a sweet shot and it keeps you interested enough to persist.

Poor choice of avatar, fella. Seriously.

Some serious questions asked about Paul Roos ...

Says the bloke who will not take any further interest in the MFC until trade and draft periods.
