The wheel is turning in this regard. Other clubs are starting to notice that the MFC is becoming more stable and competitive. This poster on big footy might be talking rubbish but there's no doubt in my mind that whichever club takes on Harley will require a close mentoring program, preferably from a fellow indigenous player who has a proven track record of battling to play footy. Nev fits that mould.

I don't know if it's been mentioned before but PJ (at the B&F) emphatically said to McCartney "the players and the club NEED you." Maybe this has been known or feared about since Hird was sacked/resigned. He received plenty of praise after just one H&A season so let's hope he sticks around and gets to spen a proper pre season with the players.

Clearly, by the look on his face after the final siren, Danger is gone. Let's live in hope and possibly even delusion, by thinking he's on his way to the Dee's.

Unfortunately I think the Bombers board might be thinking they need a 'sacrificial lamb' for a few years but preferably one that has experience and great development capabilities. Worsfold's coaching pedigree is unquestionable but I reckon the task of turning the Bombers around would be too great and ultimately result in a negative outcome for him, the players and club in general. Macca has been targeted for a specific purpose in my opinion. Not really a stop-gap type position but strategically, he's the type of man to navigate the next few years considering how tough they will be.
