  1. Maybe his parents are from Texas.
  2. Lethal will soon lose the support of members of the losses keep mounting and the players keep leaving. Stuff 'em. Three flags a little over a decade ago should still be enough to survive on.
  3. Isn't that the journo who got locked up in Egypt?
  4. Daddy Pangerfield?
  5. And how would you feel about it if he nominated MFC? The only way to fix this is to lengthen the first contract to 3 years. That at least gives clubs a chance to manage these players around homesickness and getting them accustomed to the clubs environment and culture. Aish however is a different animal altogether. A South Australian boy who wants to leave Queensland for Victoria and specifically nominates Collingwood as his preferred club. Something still isn't quite right at the Lions. Maybe Leppa himself will be the next to leave...
  6. Begs the question then why does a second year player crack the shizens at being dropped for a final. Fair front on Lennon's behalf.
  7. He's more of a natural athlete than most of the blokes on our list. Apart from his bloody foot I reckon he'll re-adapt to the training loads and his body will stand up to them.
  8. I still find it amazing that he's Gerard Whately's side-kick on AFL 360. Arguably the best commentator/television host coupled with a bloke who knows very little about the game and translates that fact so well.
  9. Please don't rubbish this thread any further.
  10. I'm probably just spit-balling a little but, I have the feeling that if Trengove manages to get back to playing seniors next year, it will mean so much more to the playing group apart from having another very good midfielder available. A Trengove comeback will help galvanise the group and help instill the belief that serious injury does not mean career over, but instead proves that obstacles such as these are part and parcel of your time as a footballer - this is how you deal with them! Trenners playing footy next year in any capacity will be extremely pleasing to say the least.
  11. Geez, Colin. Sticking it up Duhwayne would be more crucial than getting a long term contract extension with Hogan? Mate, I hate the pelican too, but come on...
  12. Why on Gods green earth would we trade out one of our best mids for ? Dom had a quieter year compared to '14 but if he ended up at Richmond I'd be seriously pist off.
  13. I'd love to hear an update on his knee, a prognosis of some sort.
  14. Correct.
  15. You're the one making a deal out of it.
  16. Yeah, and that's why he's playing waffle footy.
  17. I reckon you're on to it, Al.
  18. Can mods please add (rumour) to thread title.
  19. I can't last that long.
  20. I think you might have a different view if compensation is removed from the FA process.
  21. Players chasing a flag through the free agency portal should look no further.
  22. I can't get past the idea that Geelong are looking like picking up Dangerfield, Henderson and now a good chance of landing Scott Selwood. Surely they won't have enough draft picks to trade and all these deals will require substantial player swaps as well.
  23. My wish would be Freo.
  24. Demons by18 points. Jesse Hogan first goal. Jack Viney - Norm Smith. Close game but the toughness and absolute viciousness of the Demons led by Viney was the telling factor.
