  1. Wasn't your fault Cards. Blame six6six for taking the photo.
  2. Lol. He was the main offender at berating and belittling other posters opinions. Training threads have never been better since he brought the disdain upon himself and stopped contributing. He's got a Twitter account for those who miss his inane commentary of the players.
  3. Saty still unemployed.
  4. Fair call that.
  5. Throughly enjoyed reading your report on training - thanks plenty. Thanks also for the added info on Trenners. It's fantastic that his own personal goal is to be ready for seniors in round 1.
  6. Every time I see Petracca's name within a training thread my anxiety level goes through the roof.
  7. I figured that was your angle and I completely agree. But let's not let hindsight construe our opinions.
  8. It is funny because based in wins alone, it's factually incorrect. We also had two AA players in Trenners first year and belted Sydney with some very exciting footy.
  9. I would much rather having Dunn kicking the ball out of deep defence let alone bringing the ball back into play from a behind. Frost has got some real speed and is super strong but his skills are still questionable. I think he'll be introduced to the midfield next season, possibly playing off a wing with a run on the ball every now and then.
  10. From Roger Mellie's training thread last Friday: ".....Just a bit of shooting out handballs under pressure. He may or may not have been kicking shortly afterwards but I couldn't be 100% sure (lost in a sea of blue). All I can say is he moved well."
  11. Here's hoping that Hunt makes it thru a full pre season without injury. NAB challenge beckons. Really keen to get a look at him at senior level.
  12. Any further comments on Trenners, Roger? Kicking and agility wise? cheers
  13. Stu, I think you'll find there's not one person that's posted in this thread that is not sharing the same or similar sentiments. Time to ease up a little if I may recommend.
  14. I wonder how any AFL / RFC suspension or fine will be influenced by the cops investigation? They will have to wait now, surely?
  15. I like what Goodie had to say to Jake even more. “He gave me a ring and could see I wasn’t enjoying my footy or reaching the potential that I had. I’d go around [to his place] for dinner often [and one day] he said ‘come around, we’ll have a chat’,” he said. “At the start, I thought it was just a normal dinner … and when we got there, he spoke about the possibility of coming to the club. He said ‘you need to ask yourself what you want to get out of your footy career? You need to find that passion and reignite yourself again’. “He said ‘I’m not going to pressure you into anything and it’s not going to [change] our friendship if you do come [to Melbourne] or don’t. It’ll still be the same – there will be no hard feelings, but I just want you to get the best out of yourself’. I'm very comfortable in trusting Goodwins read of the situation and hoping that he's on the money. If he is, then the trade will be a clear winner.
  16. Testing. Testing. Testing.
  17. On an iPhone. it happens most of the time. like this.
  18. The decisive variable is the maliciousness of the threat. For example, a threat of "sitting you on your arse if you don't shut up" directed at a woman is bad enough however, "I'm gonna stab you in the face with a chopstick" is clearly more violent and any suspension should be weighted proportionally.
  19. When I go to begin a new papragraph, I have to manually select upper case. anyone else?
  20. I just noticed that when it happened to me. It's fairly discernible though when you go to click in the body and begin typing a post.
  21. The fact that the woman accepted his apology and that he's an AFL footballer are the only things delaying any further action. The cops would love to get in on this and still might if the AFL or RFC keep progressing at their current rate.
  22. Petracca will attract a fair amount of attention up forward. Hopefully having a few extra goal kickers further up the ground as well now should give Jesse more freedom. That said, having 2 or more opponents doesn't affect his contested marking ability too greatly as evidenced past season. Wouldnt be surprised if he kicks 70+ but 100 for the season is a stretch. Whether the abolition of the Sub has any effect on total scoring opportunities remains to be seen.
  23. It adds some validity to his call on Hogan in that he must still want the Dee's to be successful.
  24. He supported the Dee's growing up, did he not?
