I broke my pinky toe (like pointing sideways) on GF day taking the dog for a run behind my push bike. Not a good idea when pist and wearing thongs, particularly trying to navigate the gap between a couple of bollards. Anyway, wth it buddied up to the other toes I was able to run comfortably in 4 weeks and kick with full power at 6 weeks. I hope Trac is as tough and durable as myself when it comes to toe injuries. -

Well, that's just made my day. FMD. At least he's positive. I've never liked basket ball. -
Spot on. Theyre called 1%'s for a reason and can be real team-lifter when applied timely and with intent to hurt an opponent.

Why is Sam Frost being discussed in the Emma Quayle thread. Anyway, he's got poor goal sense and set-shot capability. If he tidies those up he'll be a better proposition than Pedersen, but until then play him out of the backline for his strength and speed.

I'll travel to whichever venue in the country for it.

So let's just have zero media coverage and interviews with players until we play finals? Should we just take Roosy and Goodies word at face value? I know, let's beg Saty back to the forum so we can get all the juicy goss.
-
This is it though. If Jack Viney was interviewed and made the same comments we'd all be banging on about how awesome it was.
-
How was JT's kicking looking, Deespicable?
-
Harsh. I thought it was a good read and was happy to hear Watts emphasise the strong influence that Goodie is having on the group. Our culture has been shitful and Jack has been through the depths of despair during his time at the club. He should have one of the better understandings and knowledge to speak about the topic of culture shift and the actual translation now taking place at the club. It does however open him up to more pot-shots as you've mentioned. Publicly speaking about the new selfless culture and not backing it up on game day will not be a good look.

A bit of a hiccup I believe.

Anyone know when the first training sesh for '16 is?

I meant if people stop and watch as passers-by. -

So what happens when a 'closed' session is held at Gosch's and supporters turn up for that? Are you chased away? -
An epic tackle. Thug life.
-
It may be just a minor detail but wasn't it a 'toe' complaint? A fracture or....? Maybe his 'foot' is only a generalisation of the injury area.
-
Gawn has always got hands to the ball but has only recently made the progression to effective ruck work. Great midfielders will shark the oppositions poor taps but I think we're now past that. a fit Gawn is super important - no doubt.

Lighten up ya goose.

Too early for a separate forum, Goodvibes. A women's game 'thread' would be a great entry level to test the waters when the league kicks off and gains momentum.
-
No, not really. But I agree with you. I think Garland will have his best year in 2016.

Brayshaw displayed some real footy smarts last season which were coupled with class and grunt. For a first year player taken at number 3 it was overs in my opinion. We've learnt not to place too much expectation on the youngsters and the club are managing them accordingly. It Oliver has as good a first season as Brayshaw we should be very pleased.

That's a great idea. It would mean that Duh-Wayne Russell couldn't host the nth Melbourne brekky.
-
No. The day flows from build-up to game to celebration seamlessly as it is. If it changed to a night time slot you would have a heap of drunken clowns at the game.
