  1. Holy shyte that was lame. Who is that 'Ken' doll interviewer? Foxtel subscription in jeopardy this year.... Lame, lame, and very [censored] lame.
  2. Listened to the broadcast of the NAB game over here last night on Grandstand. The commentators were quite effusive with how the Dockers will sign both McCarthy and Hogan. To quote one commentator who said, "the fact that Jesse Hogan has put off contract talks just screams to me that he's coming home." Clearly they're a parochial mob over here and logic is rarely included into these types of conversations. They did continue to say that Freo will most likely slide after this season but then make another run for a flag in 4 to 5 years time - "just when Hogan and McCarthy will be in their prime," they said.
  3. Awesome to hear Trengove and Petracca doing so well. Stoked.
  4. I reckon Roosy's spiel would be doable.
  5. Fremantle. Their supporters are smug latte sipping, cone smoking and dole bludging socialist pillocks. If we beat Freo I would paint the 4WD red and blue, fit an extra large bull bar and cut laps around Fremantle with the club song blaring for at least a week.
  6. it's been mentioned somewhere that a game plan can only be truly put to test against an opposition who aren't aware of many of the intricacies such as stoppage set ups, running patterns etc, etc. Intra club games are played with both sides having full knowledge of this thereby diluting the value of the 'practice'.
  7. Telling when you consider a 4 week injury as 'luck' as the season commences. Such has been our reality...
  8. That was me who suggested the merge. Any thread regards Hogan at the moment will end up with discussion about his contract - it's unavoidable given the current media hype. Hopefully now that games have started we can focus on and marvel at his footballing ability.
  9. "Hey, Joel.. Why are you bleeding so much?"
  10. Off to Freo as well?
  11. Can't believe those who are sitting on the fence with this. He's 22 (?) years old and has already done jobs on some of the best forwards in the game. Is a running machine, powerfully built and takes the game on albeit with the 'frequently odd' mistake. If we lose him I'll be extremely [censored]-off.
  12. It wasn't a collision injury. His foot stuck in the turf and twisted as the tackle was applied. But I get your point.
  13. Well I certainly hope Hunt is given another NAB game before the VFL season starts. He clearly needs the exposure.
  14. Yes, I think Dave will be paying a fine commensurate to his arrogance and subsequent stupidity at footy training this week.
  15. This is an exchange I had with a mad Power supporting mate of mine once the final siren blew. He was gearing up to watch it 2pm WA time..
  16. I don't know if we're ever going to see him execute the 'poise under pressure' attribute you speak of. He can be frustrating to watch but his one-on-one stuff is still pretty good. As you mentioned, endeavour cannot be faulted.
  17. Diagnosis of a medial strain is good news in itself as far as knee injuries go.
  18. I agree with your comments but it'd be a pretty short thread if we practiced what you're preaching...
  19. Check out Hinkley's presser. Rather than blaming the free kick count or anything else he says that we were just harder at the footy and Port couldn't match us. Smiles..
  20. Saty, I didn't even bother to read the first 22 pages of this thread but I can imagine there was some concern amongst posters. Having a dig at them only inflames things. It was a good win so let's just concentrate on that.
