I can't help but think the kid had no real support around him from management and his family. If he signed with GWS and didn't really want to it says to me he was only waiting for someone from his support crew to tell him to stay at Melbourne. It looks like everyone told him to take the coin and now we all hate him. But I am caring less and less about Scully as the days roll on.

Cloke is gone if the pies are are shopping around for a gap fill forward in lynch or fev. If reports are true that we are after hogan then we are out of the race. My rock hard gut feel is the giants learnt from the mistakes of scully and have had cloke all along

I would love Aussie to be back. I remember in one of his last games he looked super fit and his arms were massive. We need a small forward and he is it. I'd hope he could do it for the long haul in terms of a pre season and starting out at Casey and learning a new gameplan.

Maybe we could set up a trade with the Jets for Tim Tebow? We could package up Morton and sell him as the aussie version of Tebow or Jeremy Lin.

For me I'm glad we are not paying 100% tpp this year as the list doesn't deserve it right now. Dermy said on sen last week that he knew for a fact that Travis boak was on more coin then Sam Mitchell. One is a good midfielder in a spud team and the other is a gun midfielder and a premiership captain. I say pay 100% when it is warranted

My head would explode if we landed all those free agents. We would be front page of every paper for the majority of the pre season. Sponsors would offer sexual favours and truck loads of cash to jump on board and we would be the most hated team in Melbourne which suits me plenty as I'm sick of people feeling sorry for us

Exactly I've said it before that jack watts is all silk but gets criticized for not crashing packs and no contested marking when he played forward. Hogan has a phd in pack crashing and contested marks. Hogan won't be able to hit a target 50 out on his opposite foot like watts can but hogan could make any back men think twice about filling a hole in the back 50.

I'm all for getting Hogan. Some on here may have read that I am a massive fan. Get it done MFC. Hogan would rip off Lucas Cook's arms and beat him with them. The kid is a beast.

Not going to argue about his kicking I agree. But it can be worked on. We have players with exceptional skills and their intent and body size are not there and may not ever come. This bloke has the size and pack marking skills and kicking for goal would be the easiest of all those skills to teach.

Which mids are available as free agents? Sewell re signed Lenny Hayes isn't going neither will Joey. Boak is there but apart from that there aren't many out there to spend on instead of getting cloke.

Absolutely agree could you imagine not having to wait 5 years for a kid to put on some bulk to play senior footy? He is a jonathon brown mk 2. He has to work on his skills but to have him train with us for a full year would help him out so much if we don't get cloke we have to get him cause you don't find a brown or Hawkins every year in the draft
