Could we replace Beamer with neeld's axe he is about to swing?
-
Can't say that I am shocked by this but I think billy is right jurrah out boak in

A coach has to go into a club knowing he will be there for a long time. What he said may ring true in his tenth year as coach of the mfc. No culture changing events occur in the first 10 months of a coach's tenure but it all starts now for neeld. He was living in someone else's derelict house this year and now he is about to demolish it.

I totally agree about Hogan and our forward line. Our midfield problems our bigger then what some people may think though. I am not confident about how much improvement will be in JT,Sylvia and Gysberts next year. I banked on all of them improving this year and Jones went forwards and Sylvia stayed still and JT and Gys went backwards. I hope in some ways this year was just a training drill and the mids you mentioned come out swinging next year.

Agree. Let's get rid of the rot. It's up to the players you have named to lift the standards of this club. Those names and hopefully Jesse Hogan.

Free Agents 2013 ... Latest News
cowboy_from_hell replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
Are there any good free agents out there if is Goddard is gone? I'm not a huge fan of Goddard but it would be nice to have some excitement in the pre season. -
I'm not worried about Tappy. I think as a hit up half forward who can tackle is his position in 2013.
-
I'll invite Jones to my place for some well earned drinks. The rest can mow my lawns.

I heard a interview with Port's Chad wingard on SEN and he said he would have maybe one week off and would then be back into it because he is young and is worried about being left behind in terms of fitness and skill. If a player from bloody Port gets what it takes to be a player then I hope our players do to. All the money and FD resources can't make good attitudes and efforts.

He just can't kick. Playing in W.A highlights that even more.
-
Yeah I am angry, sad, emotional and a bit dry from scotch last night but it's all good because I don't have a choice I still love the club.
-
I hope Fitz plays well and Jones racks up possessions. If this can't happen I hope for a all in brawl. Not for violence sack but so I can at least see some passion and effort.

Yeah it sux! We were so awesome before Neeld came on board. Yep, we rocked the football world.

Oh boy. Really? Tell me you are on the [censored] right now? Frawley: Bad year due to too many inside 50's. Moloney: Chances for the dee's and Casey and couldn't prove himself to run both ways. He either isn't smart enough or refuses to work hard enough. Tapscott: He has had a ok year. He looks good up forward. Petterd: Has had chances when not deserved and couldn't kick a goal.Duh! Rivers: Has had a good year in my mind forward and back. Jurrah: ARRESTED STUPID! Aussie: NOT AT THE BLOODY CLUB! Gysberts: He can't run out a game. Do you want to gift games to players who don't put in on the track? Can you remind me which midfield Neeld coached before coming to Melbourne? That midfield seemed to work pretty well under Neeld.

Training under the Bailey era
cowboy_from_hell replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
I have thought this for a long time. When the draft came with Judd,Ball and Hodge everyone was asking how did Judd not become the number 1 pick? At 21 we would have known who the best was. Plus we would know if a player can hold down a key position (Watts and Cook). We would also know if someone isn't mature enough to handle AFL football on and off the field. It would also help teams out quicker with draft picks more then likely being big enough to play round 1. It takes out the guessing game to a degree. I want Jesse Hogan he looks like an absolute gun but I don't know if he will be for certain at AFL level. At the age of 21 I would know if he is a gun or not. -
What other casualties have there been? I watched him play at Casey and he looked like he couldn't give a stuff. The pies midfield looked pretty good last year under Neeld.

Training under the Bailey era
cowboy_from_hell replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
I can take losses, I can take re building and I can take being patient. But I can't take this. If this is true I would love to give the slack asses an all mighty serve. I hope Neeld swings an all mighty axe at the end of the year to the slack bastards who don't feel like training. Once again if true this shows how far behind we are and what a job Neeld has in front of him. -
I hope Fitz plays the majority of the game forward that is his strength.

Joey,Lenny and Gilbert signed yesterday and now Carlton say they definitely aren't after Goddard. So are we after him or is freo the only team?

I did get the sense that ratts has mentally moved on and is ready to go again. Poor bugger, I don't know what's worse getting fired or getting hired by port.

Malthouse adventure will end in tears
cowboy_from_hell replied to bush demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm very happy the big eye of Eddie is fixed on Carlton and their payment methods. Ever since the AFL wouldn't let us do a Judd type deal with scully I've been ticked off that what is good for one isn't for another. -
Pretty impressive press conference by ratts said he will coach the last round because he doesn't hide from tough times. Also said compared to Sam Rowe who has cancer life isn't that bad. No wonder he was an absolute gun player.

A logical idea people won't like
cowboy_from_hell replied to sylvias dukes's topic in Melbourne Demons
I agree what a laugh this thread is. I love the fact that the thread title also suggests we demonlanders don't like logic. -
Sounds like the write up on Cale morton as a under 18. No skinny kids for me. Hogan is the beast we are after.
