Round 1 is more important to me now then ever before. I want a show of strength from the players by smashing port. I want to walk away from the G knowing that the worst has passed. I want to know that being a member of the MFC isn't all torture.

Part of me believes what you say. I think we did fight to some extent and we argued enough to receive a tecnical not guilty verdict. I dunno maybe I need the paint to dry a little I just have a bit of a bad taste on my mouth that we didn't tell the AFL to shove it. I also may not be smart enough to take everything into account and then be happy with the outcome.

If Brisbane aren't going to even be looked at I doubt the AFL will want to dig up the past again. The bombers story has plenty to come. Let's see how much integrity the AFL has in 6 months time.

This makes my head spin. No we didn't tank and the club is in the clear. But CC makes a comment and DB felt pressure to rest and move players out of position. But we didn't tank and still get fined. If you take this on the surface it is beyond dumb. The AFL are a bad organization today.

It was a point raised by Healy tonight on 3aw. They can't call it match fixing. That is a massive charge and a fine and some suspensions doesn't fit with a match fixing charge. They are going to have to make up a charge. It sounds ridiculous but someone will have to make up some sort of charge for what we know as tanking.

If a sticking point is the wording of the charges laid against us what can the AFL do? I would imagine we are hell bent on not having the charges of match fixing laid against us. They can't name it tanking or trying to get draft picks. You can't fine us and suspend people under the charge of being naughty. The AFL may be holding this up because they are clueless to the wording of the charges.
