Robbo stinks of essendon bias though. With no evidence he made a double spread in the Hun about our game at manuka against the swans. With the bombers he only states its a bad situation but no coach or board member is responsible. Can't have it both ways robbo. Also becoming the chief has blown his ego to the moon.

Evans is the bloke I think can step up and find a regular game. His run and carry is excellent and his over head marking is good for his size. Don't let jetta's body type fool you. He loves a contest and doesn't mind going body on body with someone. I think he is a defender not a small forward.

It's not that big a deal to other clubs. We aren't asking to add to our list that dominated the league last year. If the Bulldogs had a hogan type player I would be all for him playing. It Boosts memberships, ticket sales and interest in a smaller market club such as ourselves. I can understand the AFL saying no but to act like asking the question is a dodgy tactic by the MFC is wrong.

I'd love hogan to play this year. We should ask the AFL for permission. They are known to have a fair league in place though. You know with the Judd visy deal, interstate teams with extra cap space, a unfair fixture, terrible stadium deals, only one tanking investigation and no clash strip for some teams. I can't see them accommodating for one club and not all.

I'm sure we will find something to lock horns over in the next few months and I look forward to it. At least you are willing to criticize but not be shocked when someone disagrees.

I understand what you are saying about the expectations of Hogan but I can't help it. I'll scream at the top of a mountain how he will dominate the league while tiger supporters sit at the bottom of the mountain salivating over Petterd and Knights.

I'm just happy to be a MFC supporter when I watch hogan play. It feels good to be happy about your Footy club. If he becomes a epic failure so what? I go back to being gutted about Melbourne and I'm used to that feeling.

Agree. We have an oppurtunity to scare the crap out of opposition teams in 2014. I know it sounds ridiculous to talk about next year already but if Howe, hogan and Mitch are all fit the forward line could be the best in the league. Plus our recruits this year have another pre season under their belt a top 8 spot is expected by me.

Agree. The storm moved on from their disaster by winning. It has nearly been forgotten about. If we continue to lose the stigma of tanking will follow us around for a long time even though we were found not guilty. Winning fixes everything and can create the foundations for new recruits for years to come.

Yes we need champions but you can't have a spine full of them. We need a star mid and solid units around him. I think our biggest need is a no bull ship no excuses attitude that winning teams have.

The fact that he leads up the ground is a massive plus. He can take marks and not just kick goals but set them up. It helps that we have Clarke who if can stay fit will kick plenty.

He had some runs in the midfield for W.A in the under 18's. His field kicking was superb in the carnival it was more his goal kicking that was his weakness. Man it feels good to be excited about a impact player we know can do a job straight away in 2014. I still have hopes for this year but 2014 and onwards looks very good with the hulk in our side.

Yep I wanted that signed jumper and winning raffles is not my thing. I have never won. Spot on about the song. It was pretty flat but Rodan seemed to love it. They may have to rethink the family day in terms of numbers as I can see Luna park getting over crowded quickly in the next couple of years. All the talk was Hogan and nothing else. I've noticed in all nab cup games that skills are down across the board. Don't beat yourself up about a pre season game. He was pivotal in beating the bombers in a real game. I'll give him some slack.
