  1. The evidence that helmets help prevent concussion are inconclusive.
  2. I know concussion is still a work in progress from medical experts but I do hope if Rohan is seen to be in danger he will be told to end his career.
  3. Out: Jamar, Toumpass, In: Gawn,Kent While the AFL world is staring at the bombers and their alleged dirty rotten drug cheating. Can't we just put Hogan in and say he is Dom barry or Strauss? No one will notice anyway.
  4. I was quite impressed by his disposal and ability to resume his AFL career without a hitch. I really hope everything turns out well for him after his career health wise.
  5. After being sidelined with concussion for a long time he returned yesterday only to be taken off the ground for a concussion test. He,his family and team mates must be concerned about what lies ahead. I dip my lid to you Rohan. You're not the best player and I have given you plenty over the years when it comes to your football skills. Yesterday you looked pretty sharp and had a crack all day. I will never ever question your endeavor.
  6. We needed a link up man through the middle of the ground yesterday. When Clarke moved up the ground we had no one to kick to. Howe could of played as a half forward who then kicks to Clarke. Howe is too dangerous to be the spare man and he went missing in defense.
  7. Has anyone seen him kick at training? Or in a drill does he do a 360 with the ball in his hands and have a look on his face like he has to get rid of the ball because he soiled himself?
  8. Watched him closely all day. At a kick in he would jog and not demand the ball. When Mitch and Sylvia would lead players would kick to the One on one contest because they would demand the kick to them. Jamar was pathetic. For two years he has been afraid to kick the ball. Even I'm front of goal he would look to handball.
  9. We played a bit more simple accountable football and looked better but we got tired. Chappy I mean Tappy is a forward:positive. Evans is a keeper:positive. Terlich M jones: positive. Mitch is a god:positive. Howe mark of the year: stock standard.
  10. 6 Sylvia 5 T Mac 4 Clarke 3 N jones 2 M jones 1 Bail
  11. He was loose man in defense in the second half. A bad decision by neeld.
  12. Ok back from the game after a lot of scotch. I sat up the back today and not in my reserved seat on level 2 so I could see everything going on. Jamar is done. How can a paid professional not want to kick the ball? He is terrified to kick it. He never leads for a contested mark. He taps and that is it. Mitch Clarke I love you. Same with jones and viney. Bail was good and Tappy looked good with very little oppurtunities. Sylvia had a crack all day. So did T Mac. Good to see Evans back. He looks to run through the middle everything he got the ball. The players without the ball make our player in possession look stupid. Mitch is the only one who presents. We need another lead up target. It should be jamar but he is useless and doesn't present any type of threat around the ground. Toumpass needs a full run in the two's. He gave us nothing at all. Last WE ARE NOT FIT. The last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter we were spent and never recovered.
  13. I am in Sunbury about a hour from the G it's overcast but it's not cold. Could pi55 down at anytime though.
  14. Surely Watts will be playing at the G today. If he is an emergency and cannot play for Casey it is beyond dumb.
  15. 210 start. Taking my 4 year old to his first game. He will subdue my emotions at the game which is a good thing. Show me something players. I just want effort.
  16. TIm Watson trying to verify the lucky shank of a kick on the turf. Pfffft.
  17. very impressed by Jack. A leader to the bone.
  18. Business is a word that describes footy all too often these days. I think Wayne, wizza and everyone who went to training today proved that footy is and always will be about people. To all of you who went thats what makes a club and gives the MFC a pulse. Congratulations.
  19. From what I have read the ox wants to help out in any capacity he can. I haven't heard or read he wants the presidency. Let the ox help out. Don't turn away help when we need it the most. At a minimum he can help out hogan and light a fire in the ass of our other players.
  20. As a kid I used to love a game called brutal football on PC. If you couldn't win the game by getting the ball in the oppositions goal you could pick up a sword and cut opponents heads off. I'm hoping they include this for the Melbourne team.
  21. He wasn't the most talented but knew what it would take to play a midfield role in premierships. He also was at a club where some called it irrelevant, they were broke, had no players and looked destined for nothing. He then went on to win flags. Our captains would blow their load if he came on board.
  22. Ling would be great or Gary Ayres would be nice. Carey once a week or when needed for Hogan and Watts wouldn't bother me either but not full time. Oh yeah that bloke who played a couple of games for us and busted his ass for the club James Mcdonald would be a welcome return.
  23. Wilson likes to vote a lot
  24. It wasn't weeks later and if Schwabb was too involved in the FD then don has removed the problem. Will you give don any credit for getting on the front foot and trying to fix the problem? Don and cam could have hidden away and pointed the blame at the FD but he didn't.
