  1. WA side, and I said Freo are 8th. There's only one of those. Ended up Geelong Collingwood Carlton Hawthorn Sydney WC Melbourne Fremantle St Kilda Richmond North Essendon Bulldogs Adelaide Lions Port GC
  2. Push Up King to miss, probably makes it a lot easier defensively - Bartram on Nahas, dunno who their replacement for Push Up would be
  3. Kosi got 2
  4. Yeah, among all the Buddy stuff it's gone under the radar.
  5. • Petterd cleared: • Scully offered $900 fine for ump contact: and • Jake King offered 1 week for the Tigers.
  6. Ladder predictor, put us in 7th (12-1-11) but a game and a half clear of 8th (Freo). We'd bloody have to travel to WA though
  7. Depends on how you define 'generation', cos Kreuzer is a year earlier and look at him go, force unto himself
  8. I think Juice may have killed his own career tbh
  9. I wasn't even born in '87, but my dad was there and did go to the Spew. We live round the corner from there now, he reckons it's just as bad if not worse than in '87...
  10. I'd say there is, sort of. I agree with most that the Max Factor will return to Casey for awhile, as the best way to get ruck experience is to first ruck, even at VFL. But it's a tactical dilemma for sure. Do we put Jamar as first ruck, have Martin as a rotating forward/ruck? Or do we let the Experience keep his form going as first ruck, put Rush forward as a hulking target that they have to put a big man on and go from there?
  11. He's quite possibly single-handedly killed off the careers of both Bate and Dunn at the MFC.
  12. You've come upon my hidden stat! IIRC, we have the best conversion ratio of I50s to scores in the AFL this year. Means we're getting it to set shots and our crumbers are doing their thing. I am coming to the idea that this gameplan is starting to gel a little bit more. When we execute, it's a massacre.
  13. you missed the Cold Toast game
  14. More to the point, if Hawthorn win Friday night it's the game for 8th.
  15. Interesting what Robbo said in his opinion piece on Stef Martin. It's at the point where there's actually a selection dilemma now because the Experience has been so, so good.
  16. Leave him. Richmond will be a chance for him against a defence that honestly isn't great. Followed by a struggling Doggies defence, then the bye, then up in Darwin where AD will rev him right up.
  17. Dees home, Tiges home?
  18. Turn him into a J Riewoldt-esque marking forward. He'd be as good as Riewoldt at it, seriously.
  19. Why not try the Experience forward? He did well when he pushed forward vs BL - took a couple of grabs. With the confidence and form he has, going up forward as another target next to an on-fire Watts and LJ is going to stretch a lot of defences.
  20. +1
  21. They're trying to put a touch of the LeBron 'take my talents to South Florida' about it. Media bloody beating it up again.
  22. hopefully does a Sylvia and takes 4 years.
  23. Rush will crap all over Vickery and Graham, and the Experience will do similar on current form.
  24. There is one thing that is very much being forgotten - what if we do make finals? While not at all guaranteed, it isn't out of the question either. And I reckon it might actually be the maker for Melbourne - if Scull can see how this club has grown already with just a season and a half, surely he will look over at, say, Carlton, and realise where we are going and where he will be able to go should he elect to stay.
  25. I'm going to come out and say it. Seriously deciding whether to get JW4 on my Melbourne jumper. It's him, 44 or 35. Tough choice.
