Did I say I think they don't know that? I was disagreeing with Biffens statement which isn't all that tongue in cheek in my opinion (though maybe he can shed some light on that), not the way the MFC is/has been operating its training schedule.

Training a team into the ground without break isn't going to win games, you need a balance.

I don't know much at all about sports physiology or what have you but wouldn't there be some kind of rest week after a camp as taxing as this?

I think about 11th or 12th would be fantastic, but after observing the videos of the training camp in the NT I can't help feeling a little excited and thinking that 8th might not be beyond the boys next season...

They were good before that though and it was just a little 'rough patch' which deserves to be investigated imo.

I have plenty of faith in Neeld and most of the players, I just think it will take time to go from 16th to the top. That doesn't happen overnight, and not even in 12 years apparently...

I know this year there seems to be more reason than ever to be pumped for next season but nevertheless this is the classic Demonland 'peak in excitement' which happens year in year out. Anyway I am really looking forward to seeing Blease in action with a much larger tank and fitness base, as well as Jonesy (seeing him improve on last year would be awesome) and Viney.
