If we have the marking power and the spread speed at CHB and in the middle, there is no reason why this cannot be effective for us. The Kicker will determine its success by the choice of delivery point and speed of delivery. Bad technique and waiting 1 minute for set-up will guarantee this will allow the opposition to kill it. As our team should be 'pressing up' behind any opposition attack, it should be about 10 seconds for the players to get on station for the kick in. Good work for trying something new.

We were APALLING in the clearances. Absolutely smashed. We wont beat a 'real' team until we fix this. Lots of 'individual' positives, but we could certainly do with a bit of 'team cohesion'. Time for some tanking: 1: Who is nearly qualified for the scorps (needs one or two games there)? Play them at Casey 2: Which young players could get a taste or more experience in the AFL? (Thinking Gawn, Nicho, Evans, Fitzy, Mc and Cook??)? Play them in the seniors Results in the next two games and not really important. I'd be happy to see some wholesale changes.

I am a member, not on the board. I should NOT be immediately privy to this information. The club has acted poorly in allowing innuendo to be the only news on this topic. A clear, concise communication from the board that said they were 'acting on' or 'considering' the recommendations would provide less scope for the gossip mongers. Instead we get 'buried', 'damning', etc etc. I hope the report was valuable for the investment (about 2 games from Scully next year). Sees like in this whole 'mess' we have not heard too many steadying statements, just white noise and silence. In times of uncertainty, simple comms are most effective. MFC - Improve your PR and comms.

Dear New coach, for Christmas, can I please have: A team that wants to play for each other, rather than themselves. Davey playing ONLY when he is fit and wants to. If he cant run any more, then teach him to do something else! Build a team around Watts, Trenners and Frawley. These three are absolute quality. A broom taken to the trash. They either shape up or ship off! Build or buy some bodies and class. The hardest pre-season that these guys have seen. A final decision on TS. (now I'm really stretching)... You raise an excellent point - all of these media vultures are talking about it as if they KNOW something - and yet, if they did, it would be dribbling down their chins! Fevola - Clogs the list at Casey stopping development of our young forwards, or list clogger at the Demons stopping the development of our young forwards at senior level. Yeah, he may kick a few goals - but we can kick 20+ goals already when our midfield works properly. He is not the answer. No for mine.
