Daisy. Get him.

Ha! Like crackers would have even the slightest idea whether that will happen. Some times, (so-called) legends should just crawl back in their hole and STFU.

Bazinga! There goes that sarcasm again Benson.

For a moment I thought the thread was about Demonland Andy. Phew!

Garland has taken some ripper marks in the last few weeks. Getting into the right spots. Really tries hard.

Suggestions of moving the Dee's to Tasmania
Moonshadow replied to alias275's topic in Melbourne Demons
Absolutely agree with your last point cunnerz. However, we are perhaps only doing ok money wise because the AFL tips a lot of money into us each year. If they didn't, we would be a financial basket case again. -
Would be good to hear of Sylvia and Chip confirmed locked in for next 3 years. Port Ad did this with Boak and some others late last year and that seemed to really inject a bit of confidence and 'team' into the playing group there.
-
Garland was more successful as a forward last year than Chip. Oh dear, it's Groundhog Day.

She's a complete [insert banned noun here]!!!

One of Paul Keating's great lines was when he told an opposition pollie (Hewson?) that he was all tip and no iceberg. I borrowed the line, but obviously didn't acknowledge the source. On topic though, I wonder if Dal Santo might be interested in moving. I saw on the idiot box somewhere that he's supposed to be out of favour at the Aints. Would he be of value?

Not unless you're trans-gender (with no offence to that delicate petal Bitter Butt) and an ex Aus PM.Edit: because Bitter seems to have once been a school teacher.
-
You're all tip and no iceberg, BBO. I just had a thought. Amongst all of your bravado and chest beating, a picture of a 4' 11", balding, wafer thin, sad old man sprang to mind (fully clothed, thankfully). Is that the real you, Bitter Butt? Delete the optimistic part from your name. It's just not you.
-
So we should have no positive threads BBO and instead stick to bitching and moaning threads until then? FFS, where's the razor blade, put us out of our misery if that's the case.

Injury List - Round 6 (Mitch Clark 6-8 weeks)
Moonshadow replied to Bergly Sanders's topic in Melbourne Demons
Fitzy kicked 4 for Casey. Has been good there this year. Has he done enough to earn a spot? -
Todd Viney? Robbie Flower, Brian Wilson? Wilson more of a forward at the Dees, though.

Hulk Hogan - knee corkey Williamstown opponent - snapped in two, RIP

Hope it's nothing to do with his knee stability. On a side note, was good to see Fitzy do well again at Casey and Dawes make a successful comeback.

Got to get an A+ grade mid 24-26yr old with 100+ games under their belt. OOC, in-contract, RFA.... I don't care. Just get one! Two would be better Wouldn't it be good if Nate Jones was our 3rd or 4th best midfielder, instead of our only consistent performer (obviously didn't have a great one on Sunday). No disrespect to him, but I'm sure he'd like to have a couple of mid career, absolute gun mids to share the load with. Imagine him if we had someone of the ilk of Watson AND Pendles by his side. Plenty of other clubs have 2, 3 or more A grade mids. When was the last time we had a real champion midfielder?
-
If those two are our worst kicks, what does that say for Nico, Bail or Spencil?

Watts back, beard gone and salvation is on its way.

. Yes, but JW has more upside than Cale ever had. Cale has little skill and no idea/vision about creating play. He's not 197cm, 92kg or quick for his size (though you'd be forgiven for thinking the same of this with Jack yesterday). If Cale got crunched 2 yrs ago the way Jack was on Sunday, he'd still be in hospital, DL. I agree with you on the Cale Moreton bit. -
I like some of what Burns has done of late, particularly last week, but his kicking action sometimes looks like slow motion. That smother and turnover goal made him look a fool.

I thought I saw him get crunched going back for a mark in the first half. That was more like what we want to see. Body on the line when it's his turn. He can do it, but he has to want the contest. Also saw his flat footed chase in the first half. Was screaming at the TV for Jack to do more than jog. However, I saw MANY Melbourne players ambling along at half rat power behind Bris players today, and in qtr 2 and 3 last week against GWS. Stumbling around like lost drunks. Surely when they do video reviews this is shown to them. No chase, no pressure. Must be embarrassed when they see it played back. It can't be fitness when it's in the first half. -
I've heard you accept the hairy chequebook, BBO.
-
Was shaved last week vs GWS. Thanks for the report LLD.

When did the Herald Sun become a sponsor?

A little bit of vomit rose up to the back of my mouth BBO. Thanks in advance for the nightmares.
