(Not that he's asking for that) Sure he's earned a significant pay increase and a long term contract, but the view of giving him anything he wants is not realistic. 4 + 1 with triggers and incentives for the 5th year may appeal to him. I don't know if that has been offered or likely to be. I too want him to stay. No one is saying he isn't loyal or doesn't deserve a good deal or that the club is going to stiff him, but you may need to reassess some priorities if your support depends on one player.

What you say is true R and BB, but after waiting in line for about an hour on a warmish day, a lot of people are fed up, no longer care and do what's easiest, which is put a 1 above the line and get out of there. Not sure how it can be changed, but the system should work regardless of voting above or below. The problem being that someone can win with only a few % of the primary vote. And I see today that the so-called 'preference whisperer' has himself just claimed a legislative council spot. What a joke.
