Judy reads the play well and generally locks down an opponent. Needs to consolidate his spot in the back 6 this year. Had a couple of good seasons in the past, eg 2013, and has the very valuable ability to play well on both talls and smalls.

Er... I'd say Carey was pretty much spot on. Did you read the article or hear him on the radio re this? Carey the footballer is a premiership capt and 7 x AA and has fantastic knowledge of the game and what it takes to be a great of the game. Sure, what he said wasn't flattering and he may well have said it somewhat in jest on the radio to get a rise, but he was correct about preseason training requirements. Wayne Carey outside of football (if that's what you are referring to) may not be great, but this is irrelevant to what he said about Silvia.

I think they pretty much knew Chip was gone mid season. Iwould say Roos played Chip up forward in 2014 to fast track the development of our backline without him. It's also quite likely the relevant clubs know Rance, Danger, etc will go as FAs this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong please but aren't Rugby league clubs privately owned? Makes for these things to be more like a business transaction.

And we are recruiting higher calibre players and actually developing them. That's also part of what I got from PJs AGM speech. Get the right players and develop them properly.

Rance is coming up as a FA as well. Put off talks with Tiges. If we get 8-10 wins this year, some of these mid career FAs might be more tempted to join us, knowing that they will be part of the resurgence. Not to mention probably get paid very well.

Chell is a property developer, currently doing a big one in St Kilda, The Carlile? Or The Inkerman or some name like that. Doing very well for himself, it appears. Still looks the same as when he retired. One of my fav players.
