Adelaide's dropped marks are proving very costly.
Richelle is a frustrating player to watch.

I reckon there are times when he does deliver, and his best is very very good. But for some inexplicable reason when he does ordinary things or even errors the commentators continue to gush and froth.
lol ... he just kicked a pretty good goal!

Who do i want to win? Like choosing between getting cholera and typhoid.
Hey, you've pinched my line!!
PS. That's ok ...

There's only one player on the ground with the surname Davey.
Despite that, Brayshaw keeps calling "Alwyn Davey Jnr" every time he gets the ball.

Dawson BOG so far ... he's great.

I hope Adelaide win tonight.
Of course I hope the filth lose. Doesn't matter who they're playing.

Zak Jones, an experienced player, subbed off during this debacle. Not a good sign.
Harmes played an OK game.

I might pop over to the Saints bigfooty post match thread (shortly). Nothing like a bit of schadenfreude.
Did anyone else read the 'highlights' of Justice Lee's judgment in the Lehrmann defamation case? I recommend it. I especially loved the line "After escaping the lion's den, Mr Lehrmann made the mistake of going back for his hat." Comic gold.
Is anyone else still actually watching the match?

They did this with Easton Wood. They never called him ‘Wood,’ It was always ‘Easton Wood.’
It tends to be players with surname type first names.
I first noticed it with Mitchell White of WC Eagles about 30 years ago. Continued with Fraser Gehrig et al. Although that BT moron used to call him "Fraser" sometimes.
This discussion is more interesting than the carnage taking place at Doglands.

Damn you for making me notice it. It drives me nuts now!!
Commentator just called Bailey Williams.
There's only one player on the ground with that surname.
Thankfully Bailey Smith isn't playing.

There is only player on the ground with the surname Dale. Why do the commentators always identify him as Bailey Dale? They don't do the same with other players.

Saints are woeful.
Free kick Bulldogs back in force.

He'll play v Tigers.
Goodwin rarely drops someone after one match ... well, other than Tomlinson and Schache.

North wearing black armbands in memory of the mum who died yesterday in the Bondi stabbing attack, Ashlee Good, who was the daughter of former North player, Kerry Good. Tragic.
It is beyond tragic ... RIP Ashlee and the 5 others who were murdered.
Her 9 month old daughter was also attacked, but thankfully survived. But she will grow up without her mum.
- Good's nine-month-old baby was rushed to hospital on Saturday and is now "doing well" after hours of emergency surgery, her family said in a statement.
It is beyond belief that this happened.

The thing that concerned me with this game from a tactical point of view is that Brisbane rushed up to shut down any efforts to release out the front of the stoppage. Combined with the usual tactic of bring manic pressure at the contected ball against us, it seemed to shut down our ability to release a bit of of pressure from the skirmish. They were set, had a plan and came to play. We didn't catch on that our 1 wood had been stolen.
"A plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel."

I think I'll pop onto the Crows forum in BigFooty.
Wonder what they're saying about Rachele?
