if culture is his driving motivation going to GWS should be his last choice. Unlikely to have any sort of culture to speak of for the duartion of Scullys career
unfortunately Jack won't benefit from the public backlash and commonsense as the appeal will be based on the interpretation of the rules. The rules themesleves will probably be addressed though at seasons end, good for the game, not for Jack.
I actually hope that someone like Eddie comments on this is as this is bigger than just a MFC issue as its a disgraceful decision that devalues a fundamental component of the game.
that clown Tinneys argument that the game has changed and this case should be based on the game as it is now and not before was the most ridiculois argument compounded by the fact that he said Trengove could have used less force in the tackle. The game is played at the most frenetic pace than it ever has been so how does a player moderate the amount of force that he applies in a tackle at the pace the game is today.
Absolutely gobsmacked by this decision and the MRP should be lambasted until its disbanded after this. This is a farce but what seriously what do you expect.
so basically the way this seems to work is because Dangerfield got injured Trengove should be punished even though he performed a legitimate tackle that was neither reckless or malicious. Had Dangerfield not been injured nobody would even bothered to look at the footage except for coaches wanting to show how to perform a great tackle.
It's actually embarassing how the MRP seems to work sometimes.
if Connolly was appointed coach it wouldn't be a good look and would stink of conspiracy and undermining from within, similar to the way Grant Thomas got the job at StKilda.
