For a team that got smashed i thought Tynan played pretty well. When the umpire didn't give him free kick for HTB after that brilliant tackle in the last quarter i was furious. Gotta reward players for that, ESPECIALLY first gamers. Cruel. Hates getting beaten because he gets beaten a lot. I'd be happy with him playing that spoiling role if he provided some run and good disposal out of the backline but he doesn't.

Blease broke his leg horrifically and only debuted late last year. Give the kid a chance. Gysberts has received 2 rising star nominations, not bad for a 190cm pencil. Give him a chance too!! and Prendergast left, he wasn't fired.

I enjoy his media on-the-spot pressers thoroughly, but haven't enjoyed his pre-prepared speeches at all. Needs to work on them. Cant possibly make any judgement on his coaching ability yet.

As long as it doesn't become a revolving door where players gets dumped after 1 (or even 2) games down on form. Part of becoming a top 4 side is also becoming cohesive as a team and getting a regular 22-25 players going.

To say he didn't improve last year is ridiculous though. He was named in the bests (by us, the fans, and by neutral adjudicators such as the AFL website) many, many times over the season, including in many of our bad losses where he was one of few who could hold their heads high. There are other players his age/size/height/frame who went in the first round of past drafts that have played less than him. People just love to bag him.
