In RPFC's defence he never really said that Tom was going to stay. Just that he 100% backed him in telling the truth when he said that he hadnt signed anything yet.
-
If he stays i'll be disapointed
-
Has rpfc hijacked your account? What ever happened to hangon007 with the Richmond conspiracy theories etc?!
-
I dont understand why so many are so quick to go into bat for scully? Yes he plays for the dees, but he's not the second coming of christ FFS. Cant say a bad word about Scully in this thread, but feel free to slag morton, bennell, Bate etc in countless other discussions....
-
if Cale Morton is delisted he should become an astronaut .... He can only find the ball in space!
-
the bloke isnt smart though from twitter.. "Sorry for the @(Real)_ColSylvia, but someone made a fake 1st time rnd so thought i'd run with this! Excited about what the future may have installed...
-
nothing a sling tackle wouldnt fix!
-
Sylvia is close to Irreplaceable IMO. Not interested in a trade, sign him up!! Goal kicking midfielders/flankers are gold.
-
I cant believe people compare tom scully's situation to other players who hold off negotiations until the end of the year. Trengove made the comment that lots of playes hold off talks. IMO there is a very little number of cases that are even remotley similar to Tom Scully's... A serious, multi million offer is on the table. The media attention is beyond a joke. The club rumoured to be interested have confirmed their interest and publically discussed that their offer is on the table. The only other case similar to this is Garry Ablett. IMO Scully's contract saga is even more damning than Abletts case was. Ablett was walking out on field success for the next few years and a club where he had won flags. Scully wouldnt be quite as assured that the Dees will be capable of what Geelong did/are doing Ablett had every reason to love Geelong FC; 2 flags, family connections etc. Scully has no reason to love the dees other than playing ~30 games with them

you need to wake up and smell the Falafel cooking in Sydney's western suburbs....

i forgot that! My posative spin would be; Roo's beat the dogs, Bombers beat the cats, no reason why we cant beat the Hawks Jurrah to kick 5 on whoever they try to match up against him
-
Last time we played the Hawks we got smashed. Basically we were not up to it, pressure and skill wise. To have any chance of beating them we need to turn up to play big time. The more big bodies the better, but most of all we need to play blokes who dont go missing or drop their heads if they start to get a run on. So MacDonald comes in (unless the HUN's injury list is right) and i'd be tempted to bring in Jetta too becasue he has a crack. Strauss or nicholson and Morton OUT.
-
Luke Blackwell (Claremont) is a decent midfielder. Kills it in the WAFL. Was father/son drafted to Carlton, played a few games but couldnt get a run when compeating against the likes of Judd, Murphy etc
-
its more than he is worth
-
Callum Wilson is on the eagles list, but plays WAFL every week becasue he has Lynch, Kennedy and now Darling infront of him. I dont think we need to draft in a player from another club, but he wouldnt be a bad choice.
-
None. we might even miss out on the short list. I'd say Jamar and Beamer are our only chances based on season form, and Chip might get a look in based on his selection last year. No real standouts this year - and those that have been great havent had the consistancy to be seriousl considered IMO?
-
I'm on the keep him side of the fence, but only just. IMO he needs to lift BIG TIME, but i dont see where the urgancy is coming from to get rid of him? i'd probably keen him on the list infront of Dunn, Bate, Newton etc etc who are older and proving yet again that they are not quite up to it. Those who say trade him now while he has value i'd ask this - what do you expect to get for him? Everyother club would be seeing the same Cale Morton that we see.... Trade wouldnt be worth our while. No harm in keeping him on for another season or two, however there would be harm in continuing to play him for the sake of it?! If we want value for trades, why not float one of our 4 ruckmen?! Atleast they'll have currency

the freo come back was a great win, but only becasue we were so far behind the 8 ball, so to come back was something pretty special

Scott Watters - potential future MFC coach?
DemonWA replied to Ron Burgundy's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hes an Ex-Docker and i hate Subiaco FC The WAFL is not as strong as the VFL. The Eagles and Dockers listed players get distributed around the 9 teams in the comp. the Swanniers team they beat in 2008 was a fair list too! AMES, Tallan 12 7 BANFIELD, Todd 6 2BEROS, Shane 12 5 BONNEY, Peter 2 1 DALY, Benjamin 8 1 Davis , Ryan 11 5 DELLA-VEDOVA, Keith 1 1 DOUGLAS, Scott 1 0 EMBLEY, James 4 0 FLEAY, Shane 4 2 Fleming, Jason 11 2 GARLETT, Jefferey 18 30 GEAPPEN, Tim 21 31 GRABSKI, James 7 0 GRIFFIN, Dwayne 1 1 HANSEN, Ashley 3 13 HINKLEY, Clayton 16 12 INGALL, Nicholas 3 0 IPAVIZ, Dean 2 0 JETTA, Neville 2 0 JOHNSON, Michael 11 11 JOHNSTON, Michael 5 5 KRAKOUER, Andrew 9 9 LAMMIE, Wesley 13 0 LANGE, Adam 18 9 MCKINLAY, David 16 3 MCKINLAY, Michael 9 1 NAITANUI, Nicholas 16 9 NANKERVILLE, Daniel 2 0 NOTTE, Tony 19 28 O’REILLY, Daniel 3 0 PEARCE, Clancee 7 2 PRATT, Luke 3 0 PULLMAN, Josh 14 10 RICHARDS, Guy 10 0 RICHARDSON, Paul 12 1 ROBERTS, Josh 20 10 ROBINSON, Brett 19 14 ROWLANDS, Rhys 8 4 SHINE, Nathan 2 0 SIMPSON, Justin 6 2 SMITH, Chris 16 4 SPAANDERMAN, Llane 17 10 SPENCER, Matthew 8 0 TAYLOR, Garth 22 6 TWOMEY, Wayde 16 3 WALTERS, Michael 1 0 WOLFENDEN, Brett 18 10 WULF, Daniel 9 3 YARRAN, Chris 13 38 -
i voted none onf them. I'd love us to beat the eagles though. I see hem coming back to reality a little in recent weeks. Yes they are still very good, but they are starting to look a little tired? If we can jag a win against any team in the next month id like it to be against them to make up for the humiliation of attending the last match at Subi
-
Great news, although I would still say he is probably in line for a rookie spot?

Scott Watters - potential future MFC coach?
DemonWA replied to Ron Burgundy's topic in Melbourne Demons
Watters?? So he coached Subiaco to a few WAFL flags (2006, 2007, 2008) when they were full of ex / future AFL players, not to mention Brad Smith at FF (who should have played AFL, kicked 100 goals regularly)? Not saying he cant coach, but thats a pretty decent WAFL squad Subiaco Squad from 2008 Caine Hayes, David Mapleston, Jordan Adamson-Holmes, Luke Newick, Stephen Martin, Brad Smith, Darren Rumble. Greg Broughton, Robert Forrest, Chris Phelan, Ben Randall, Sam Larkins, Blake Broadhurst, Chris Hall, Jason Bristow. Mark Haynes, Raphael Stack, Kyal Horsley, Trent Dennis-Lane, Daniel Chick, Daniel Rich, Martin Smith, Phil Read. Allistair Pickett, Shaun Hildebrandt, Jarrad Schofield, Aidan Parker (vc) Adam Cockie, Chad Cossom, Ben Keevers Scott Watters (Coach) -
Hey Old dee, i half expected you to say Jamie Bennell spending some time at Casey?! Watts starting to come good is the biggest posative for me. Martin, Howe, Nicho, Evans etc have all been great suprises, but the biggest posative from 2011 is taht JW is on the right track to become a consistant game breaker

What is wrong with having a robust discussion on a MFC issue on a MFC forum?
