A few posters on Bomberblitz mention in passing that Melksham has been affected more by the ASADA sage than any other player at the club
I wonder why that is?
The asada sage? I hope he doesn't get wada thyme

I work for Champion Data, capturing AFL and TAC stats every weekend during the season. Seen every game Parish has played in over the past two seasons, he's a star.
Source?

Cam Pedersen is the most arrogant person at the club?
I find that very hard to believe.
would you believe.... (insert Maxwell Smart gif here)

Yes, I absolutely agree that they will be competitive next year. I never stated otherwise. I think that they will be in trouble in the future when their experienced players retire and they don't have the young guns coming in to replace them.
I probably just have a skewed view from having supported so many terrible teams for so long and having seen them go through prolonged pain after trading future picks.
I for one hope you're right. There is no doubt they are taking a gamble and i reckon it is one that will put them under a fair bit of pressure. Surely top 4 is a minimum pass and that certainly is going to be a challenge. In fact Danger has already said to be careful of expecting him to be the messiah. I hope their fans go way over the top with their expectations and the cats can't deliver.

You're not interested in the contents of Josh Kennedy's suitcase?
Finally a riddle!
I've got this one. Josh has a demons jumper in his bag?

The problem with this argument is you need to factor in every player drafter by pick 25 or later from those drafts, not just the pick alone.
Very good point. There have been any number of excellent players taken higher than 25 that recruiters have simply missed or who have been able to go to a higher level (raise the draft age!).
None the less drafting remains a lottery and i'm happy the club is looking at Melksham. A point i have made before is that the other problems with draft picks for us is that we are at risk of having a poor age profile with lots of young players and few in that crucial 75-100 game zone.
A good age spread is crucial, particularity given we are likely to lose Howe who is in that category (and maybe Grimes?) and getting Melksham in, and to a lesser extent Bugg and Kennedy, allows us more flexibility with our other draft picks.

I like the idea of McCartney working with Lennon again.

By all accounts no other team would touch the contract we're prepared to pay him. We could just as easily have gotten him for free in the PSD.
By all accounts? Please provide a link to just on account of a reputable football who has stated that view

Pick 25/28 seems like a bargain for an established player to me. Reckon people way, way overestimate the value of draft picks.
A view shared by Leigh Matthews.

For what its worth i have reasonable mail that he may be open to a move.
I can't see how he could play with Dawes but to be honest I would rather we had Levi. He is a brilliant mark and perhaps limited in other ways but he and hogan would be an intimidating double act that would really stretch most defenses. Does he ever ruck?

I heard track actually did a somersault, turned his back and caught it with his feet and before landing kicked a left foot 60 metre barrel straight through the goals three quarter post high

Funny the things you read on threads you haven't visited for a while on one of the several devices you read DL onHe is not better then Dunn and Lumumba. Thats just laughable.
And he will NOT finish top 10. I will be very very shocked if he did.

We won't re-sign Hogan until well after the 2016 season.
It would be silly for him to sign on now when he could easily improve his worth with an even stronger season. It's a risk for him but this is all talk atm. They're opening discussions and that's it.
To be honest i can't see how he could improve his worth. If anything he could drop his worth if god forbid he copped a bad injury

Not that kind of poster?
Sure. Why not. It certainly opens up your options.

Thanks to everyone. I have no friends who are Demon supporters so the world often feels like a lonely place. Its great to know I have company and that's what will make it even more special when we win the first GF of my lifetime - I will have lots of people to share the love with!
If, sorry when, we win a flag we should have a demonland party. Come dressed as your favourite poster

Kicking penetration as well.
Yep, good point. His kicking penetration dramatically dropped off didn't it. I had forgotten that. If he doesn't have a long leg (in god awful commentator speak) it will really impact on his effectiveness.

Endurance will just as important as pace with the new restrictions on interchanging next year.
That's an excellent point as endurance is certainly one of his strengths.

Actually Clint I reckon it's very likely and makes a lot of sense.
Yep so do i. As does making it clear Melksham, and to a lesser degree Kennedy and Bugg, is keen to come to the dees at this early stage

Show's that you can't read much into "body language" on field.
After reading that I am ecstatic he has signed on. Exactly the type of person we need around the club as we build forward.
Spot on - and a spooky coincidence. I just copied exactly the same part of that article to make my sig block

Still massive 'if' for me - I know he looked good, but I'm also conscious that we have been easy beats and I wonder how much other teams really cared about a kid getting a few kicks. So few teams have had to try to beat us for so long. Unless his speed reappears, I think he cannot make it.
I also hope to be wrong.
I agree with stevethemanjordan that Trenners is a natural footballer. Total natural, more so than Scully who was the classic athlete first footballer second draftee. It is for this reason that whilst of course it is optimal he gets his pace back he can cover the loss if it doesn't by becoming an inside mid who, like say a Mitchell, compensates by how well he reads the game.
The problem with this for the dees is we are so so slow across the board.
A fit, injury free treners back next season will be absolutely huge for us. Even more huge if he regains his pace

I have a contact that worked for Collingwood last season in a match analyst role. He told me that Bucks didn't rate Kennedy's defensive work rate. Looks great with ball in hand but has a long way to go as a two way runner
If that's an accurate assessment by bucks I can't imagine roos would be keen

Why do people up trade scenarios?
However if the missing word is [censored], or in trade parlance pedergrassed, then I guess the answer is humans are fallible

Or Taylor or viney? Never ceases to amaze me some on DL think they no more about trade value than footy pros
