And how many times, even when we had reasonable form going in has that come back to bite us?? Why not just face up to whatever the opposition chooses to put on the middle against us and..........kick ass.

I would see him more a defensive forward (vs say Shaw) than a backman. He can hurt the opposition defence with a long goal but does his kicking have the finesse required of a modern day defender?
