  1. Smithy and -luded: I miss having the altnative available. I was a regular poster there but I must say apart from the technical problems, some of the personal nit-picking and abuse (especially from whoever is / are the various iterations as I recall of rono) got to me over the early part of this season and I transferred my time-wasting activities (not meant in a derogatory way) over here.I, like many others, are very grateful to Tim in particular, and his support team for what that have given us - it would be great if it resurrected, but Tim's health is more important.
  2. A fantastic post, robbie. This last sentence struck me though -- Sydney on the one hand, and Carlton on the other immediately spring to mind. Let's see if Neeld and Missen with Craig can get these guys firstly fully fit, and determined to play for the team and for each other. I would certainly rather see a successful team of good players than one full of top draft picks that teases and flashes in the pan, then flushes from the pan!
  3. .and you left out Moloney there too.
  4. you mean like Morton, Moloney etc ??
  5. Cook goalless? Did he play? Is "Lazarus" Williams maybe a genuine prospect in the next year or two?
  6. I would guess that what they saw in him preseason hasn't come to fruition - some "KPI" that he hasn't met despite being regularly named amongst the better players at Casey. I don't know what that KPI is but it must be something that MN holds as important.
  7. As I recall he did OK at Casey late last season in the midfield...maybe his fitness isn't up to the required standard of Neeld and Missen, and if so good luck to them. Standards need to be set.
  8. ?.....like the Juice one last week.Move on folks.
  9. For those of us who haven't been able to watch, can someone give us information regarding these guys? eg - who are they like in current AFL terms. Thanks
  10. Certainly it would be worth a try, and as you say JT may get nearer the ball and learn from whomever he is tagging. And Jordie's disposal by hand is pretty good, and by foot not as bad as many here suggest.
  11. Liam Jurrah, 224, the new version of Nick 426 Smith.
  12. How many games would Brad Johnston had employed for the Dogs were you a selector??Stupid thread. Bobby...are you a headline writer for a cheap tabloid?
  13. I would just love to see the two of them on the park in top fitness together.....will be see that?
  14. Depends on detail.....may be only a matter of week(s).
  15. Should never 'ave arrived!
  16. I too savoured that irony......tasted wonderful.
  17. Do you mean having some little overrated mercenary prjck just marking time over 50 unmemorable games before he $ulks off tomGW$?
  18. Without being too pessimistic, it IS possible that we will never see those two in R&B again. We need to do our best without them and hope they will return.
  19. It seem that anything that looks good just breaks!!
  20. Darren Kowal must have handed on the goat tapes.
  21. Yeah...well...don't say you are surprised? The AFL heirarchy are and always have been a pack of money grabbing self glorifying hypocrites, so what is new? Their precious new parody franchise clubs could get hurt...just wouldn't do.
  22. Maybe swimming - without the moon boot? Any physios here?
  23. WTF??? Can we ever get an exciting player to go through uninjured? Tingay, Prymke, Glen Lovett, Alen Jackovich, even James Cook, Gysberts and now Clarke --- many others you will pick Any of those could be world beaters yet are cut down prematurely by injury. Maybe there s a God after all, and he hates Demons!
  24. Pavlich sounds good to me.
