  1. Difference is - this "court" will actually decide the inevitable penalty purely on the whim of Vlad, who has a massive conflict of interest in promoting his bloody franchise teams.
  2. Big positive - Brock McLean doesn't play for us anymore
  3. Maybe I haven't downloaded the article properly or fully, but I cant see anywhere that these restrictions are proposed. Not being allowed to send a player off for early surgery??!! What about OH&S issues. We all know that clubs push injured players if they are still "in the race" - that must be a bigger OH&S issue than allowing an injured player time to recover for next season. Maybe they are the ones who should be sanctioned. And surely there must come a time to try out young players....what do they propose? Resting fatigued players - perfectly appropriate OH&S management. What an absolute load of garbage.
  4. all that sounds great...but we have Cookie languishing at Casey.
  5. Dimitriou / AFL agenda: prop up the new franchise clubs, again, at the expense of the only club that could threaten their first draft picks, and who have a good F&S prospect that they could get cheaply, and furthermore who will more than likely just roll over and take it.If you get the impression that I am becoming cynical and pessimistic, you are right. Nearly had enough after barracking for, and supporting the club since the early 1950s.
  6. And to think that there were some here who actually thought it could be a good idea to get this greedy, bitter, twisted, slow [censored] back to the club. Move on people
  7. Maybe this could go on one of the many "who do we draft" threads? On the other hand, some may feel excited about creating new threads just for the sake of it. Nothing much else to get excited about.
  8. au contrare - he has been put up to it by AFL - they will of course deny this, but it is a setup to deny us our compensation picks and an easy bid for Viney. All in the name of propping up GW$ and GC$.
  9. Any psychiatrists here?Is it paranoia only when the belief that they are out to get you is false?
  10. .....and therefore giving them to....wait for it.......Vlad's project clubs, GW$ and GC$
  11. ....presuming that Vlad doesn't decide to strip up of all our picks and make us pay our first for Viney, or even just make a unilateral decision that he is up for grabs, regardless of F&S. In this annus horribilus nothing would surprise me.
  12. Yeah - one small spot of good news in an season from hell in all other respects. Was "Give them Hell" the mantra for this season - did they misinterpret it as give the supporters hell?
  13. Posted elsewhere, but don't you be so sure of that. I see a conspiracy being set up to strip us of our comp picks and make us pay over the top for Viney if we want him, all to promote the failed GW$ and CG$.Yes...I am still taking the tablets, but I think the pharmacist is in yet another conspiracy to make people think I am paranoid.
  14. Don't get too comfortable. It could get a whole lot worse with the AFL / Vlad conspiracy fuelled by hypocrite puppet McLean to reopen the tanking issue - this I see as a way of preventing MFC getting any high picks this season at the expense of his darlings, GW$ and GC, and probably making us pay over the odds if we want Viney. Wait and see. Its coming.
  15. Thanks Brock - bitter twisted [censored], who left us to go to the club that made an art form of tanking.I see this all as playing out to a Vlad agenda to ensure that MFC do NOT get the compensation picks they were promised for the $cully defection, and probably have to sell their best picks or let Viney go to GW$. Watch it play out over the next few weeks. I will be very surprised if we were not penalised, or read it another way, GW$ and GC advantaged to ensure their advancement. The only thing that makes me doubt this in any way is that Vlad would have to admit he was wrong when he said tanking didn't happen. But it still comes down to Jordan McMahon kicking that difficult goal after the siren - it wasnt Bailey, McLardey, Stynes, Cameron or anyone esle who kicked it. It would have all come undone, assuming it was planned and I for one still have some doubts, had he missed. PS: Mods - can the duplicate, or triplicate, tanking threads be merged?
  16. I nearly fell off my chair when this hypocrite said he left us because we tanked, and went to...............the originators of the tank. LOL!
  17. Thanks KC Did Fitz do enough when up forward to justify a promotion, as a forward who can ruck rather than a ruckman who can go forward? The other I am particularly interested in is Gys.
  18. No....hum. How about another list management thread, maybe...tomorrow?? I will wait with baited breath.
  19. Did Bailey, or maybe our CEO, kick that after siren 50 metre goal v Richmond that facilitated all this tank talk, or was it a guy in Yellow and Black named McMahon?
  20. Sad to say, for the first time ever, I am beyond caring....but a tall forward, Fitz and or Cook could be worth a look, surely.
  21. Whatever one's views on his future, ie whether he should stay or be offered for trade, I think most would agree that Col IS THE most frustrating player on our list. Offers so much and usually delivers so little....just enough, often enough, to tease us and con the list managers. A huge disappointment to most I would think.
  22. Spalding, Jolly, Pike, Armstrong, Bishop all played in Premierships after leaving MFC for various reasons. Jolly is the one that irks me most - Daniher was just too blind and / or stubborn to play him and Jamar in tandem the year that Jeff White ran around crippled with shin splints for about half the season. It would have been a wonderful opportunity to see how they could both fit in or which to let go. Maybe even to rebadge White the following year as a forward?
  23. Does anyone know what contingency the AFL has for a team that has maybe only 21 listed players available? I guess, like most things, they will make it up as they go along.
  24. I tend to agree though maybe it is just too hard.I was so [censored] off when Wojinski was back playing in a few weeks when he broke Viney's jaw.
