Is that good or bad???

Cook in the better players, but no goals!! Was he trying a different role ie defender?? Late in the peace to start that I would have thought. Any info KC or others?

Multiple subs can only hinder player development The 3 interchange, 1 sub plan was to make players more tired and now they are complaining about that result being achieved! (a bit like a CO2 tax intended to increase electricity prices....but gawd, reality hits, it might!!!) Rather than reducing interchange players, why not reduce interchange numbers per quarter -- say 20, and if you don't strategically hold some in reserve until late in a quarter and an injury occurs, bad luck, activate the sub then. This annual need for a rule change by its megalomaniac leader is "bringing the game into disrepute", and an investigation needs to be held nd the culprit castigated!

I must say I do tend, sadly, to agree with what you have said. At best he should be offered a rookie position, or equivalent, and put in plenty if hard work to get back on the main list, IF he is free to do so and IF he really really wants to.
-
...was that really 4kegs, or a typo?? IF and a big IF he can get up to the required fitness, and maintain it, AND is prepared to fully commit to MFC AFL then bring him on, rookie list if possible, or on a minimum performance based contract.I wonder if his interest has anything at all to do with Liam's troubles -- a great comeback on his part would certainly do a lot to promote Territorian footy.

KC - is Cook doing anything remarkable?
-
Maybe the $enile old bugger from GW$ is even more bitter towards Essendon for sacking him than us for not taking I'm and will bid for Daniher instead of Viney.
-
Double good news.Go Mitch.

Bloody awful timing: may spell the death knoll, unless we can get some Ramanaskas type rookie deal or provisional listing of some sort from the AFL.
-
Never heard of him!
-
That is a great way of summarising Brad's career. I never thought he lacked courage as some did, but he is a gentleman, which is no disgrace. Not a lot of mongrel in him.

Do you mean a very good clever quick small, but one who doesn't snipe behind the play then squeal to the umpire and point to the retaliator??
-
And why pray tell do we actually care on this site?

Do we really need yet another Jurrah thread??

FCS getting back to Molan -- it seems to be CAC's fault that he didn't foresee him (a) breaking his leg in his first season then (B) some equally disabling shoulder injury in his comeback game. I never saw Molan play, and I doubt if the many here who so vehemently condemn him did because he had an incredibly unfortunate succession of injuries that totally destroyed his career before it has a chance to start. Is that poor recruiting?? Should we not have recruited Paul Prymke because he stuffed his back, or Ox because he did his knee three times - shocking foresight by the recruiters there.Cook certainly is a disappointment, but remember none other than the recruiting guru, Sheahan rated him very highly but as recruiting is a very inexact discipline I guess some always don't work out. Hell, who was the moronic recruiter who overlooked Hird at ?70, or Grant at 99 or thereabouts. If the idiot saw both of them we could be a very different story. It must be just a wonderful feeling being perfect.

MODERATORS - we have a "like" button; can we please have a "dislike"?

....and also far too good at what he does -- CHB and if not, worth trying at CHF
-
He is now doing what is asked of him.....not the best on the list but to me a definite keeper for versatility and depth if not more. I think that Neeld will be very happy with his "roles" and discipline.
-
One would hope so.Absolutely no point in risking aggravation of anyone's injury in this twilight of a dismal season. Get 'em right for preseason and round 1 2013.
-
How refreshingly positive you are - not!!!How many "delisted duds and battlers who can't get games at current clubs" have we traded for in the Neeld era? Clark??? Yeah - a dud because he broke his foot! Even the much maligned Sellar has shown some positives later in the season, as a depth player.
-
Wash your mouth out -- I sincerely hope that Viney has a lot more strings in his bow, burning desire to be the very best, and talent than Brent. And I keep getting confused - is he free agent of some sort and if so what sort of compensation could we expect? Something "at the discretion of the (even handed) AFL commission"??? LOL :-(((
-
Exactly - it does involve or requires thinking in a wider sphere, and as I said not just on U18 and draft camp assesments.
