This thread is about Jason Taylor, not about SOS.
I will try not to vilify or belittle SOS too much until we can actually beat his team!! Hopefully I can resume Sunday night.
Whilst I totally agree that "all the goals" was a great thing, I do remember when that was frequently only a handful anyway.
Maybe the "new Melbourne" will make that too long for a short clip.
Still, I will gladly sign up to the "bring back all the goals" movement.
Like muppets, it seems
He does play hard, but that particular "incident" was neither hard nor outside the lines. It was a bicep to the back of the neck....would hardly draw a free for high contact, but the MRP just seem to continue to find new ways of proving their inconsistency and incompetence.
And I agree that he does need to be very careful - he is being scrutinised.
Look at it - it was the inner part of his bent elbow to the back of his neck, minimally late
The "victim" would have done very well playing soccer for Italy v Australia in a World Cup match.
Brent Harvey played well after David King finished
He did a similar one at a critical moment in the memorable victory vs Hawks last year. He has fantastic vision and execution.
Valid points CB and AKA - unless he were to find that undetectable "something" that allowed Cousins to run all day +++ in the GF 2006 or 2007.
Of course all things are undetectable if unsought, and if indeed such were detectable then swept under some magic carpet somewhere.
Who really cares about Brown's opinion anyway?
It will make no difference to how we perform. But if Jesse does care about the opinion, hopefully it will fire him up to prove JB wrong.
Hird contrite??!!?? He has never shown even a scintilla of contrition.
contrite |kənˈtrʌɪt, ˈkɒntrʌɪt| adjective.
feeling or expressing remorse at the recognition that one has done wrong: a contrite tone.
Without ever having seen him in action, if he doesn't make it it will not be the end of the world for the club nor an indictment on our recruiting or player development, though of course it would be bitterly disappointing for Liam.
There must be data on what proportion of third round pick big men play senior footy at all, how many become regulars and how many actually make a big impact. I suspect that only a minority become regulars.
Does anyone even know what was being scanned, and with what modality? MR, ultrasound, CT? Head, back, finger?
Could be something, or nothing - in fact certainly one of those options.
