OK I guess I just take the view that there will be injuries and I hope they are as few as possible. At present I see our injury list as short and it is not having a major influence on our results
-
Any of our young players potential star material? And who?

Wth the exception of "Cut sick". I know I am getting on, can you humour me what does that mean? -
I agree Nasher but really is Strauss going to make a dramatic difference to us winning or not? I am amazed he is even this close. When it happened last year I thought 2012 was a write off for him. Why are you seething about Gysberts? Injuries happen and his form prior to the injuries was poor, from my memory he was dropped to Casey because he was not playing well.

Not the next two RR, no Casey games unless you want him in the Casey 2's

Only my opinion GL You may be correct. I just have a low opinion of Blease. As I said may come back to bite me. I will happily agree I was wrong when he wins the Brownlow. ( fat Chance) -
After looking at that list my conclusion is we can hardly blame injuries at present for our results.
-
At the risk of being boring RN I think nowadays I would just be happy to have the Dees Financially Stable, Win more games than we lose and be respected by the competition. That will have to be good enough for me as I am now fairly confident we will not win number 13 while I am on this earth

We are in agreement DemonWA Jurrah is the only one at this point that looks to me to be a potential Star. Of the others a number of them could be good players that play a lot of games. Some it is too early to tell and others in my opinion will not be more than average. Now I am about to do something that is unwise because this will come back to bite but here is my list. Stars - only one Jurrah Good players - Trengove, Grimes, Gysberts, Morton, Howe and Watts Average - Strauss, Tappscott, Fitzpatrick, Spencer Won't make it - Blease, Jetta, Nicholson, Evans, and Bennell Who the hell would know been at the Dees 5 minutes - Couch, Sheahan, Williams, Taggert, Cook and Tynan. I have probably missed someone. Now I will sit back and wait to be made to look like a fool! -
You have my vote

rjay this problem has been around for as long as I can remember. It is far from an easy problem to solve or numerous administrations would have done it long ago. IMO we have far more important fish to fry. Lets get the MFC winning games and then worry about it
-
Good, I am just getting tired of dees supporters who want to blame the media for our problems.
-
No I don't JM The thoughts RR expressed are the same as mine when I saw the end of the game on replay. In fact I replayed it to make sure I was not just disappointed with the result and imagining it.
-
Well all that extra work has produced bugger all so far.
-
I think JM it is all the running around 5 meters behind the other team. You cover a lot of ground chasing.

Stinga81 please stop with the persecution complex. Right now the MFC is the worst team in the comp. here at demonland we constantly want to shoot the messenger. While what he says does not explain our poor form what he says are mainly facts. As recognized by Paul Gardner and Jim Stynes and I am sure numerous members of the board and administration. We need to be all in one location why do you think CS is keen on the Docklands idea. I have said it a number of times but here goes again. Start winning games and 99% of the stories you hate go away. Until then we just have to suck it up
-
You are right olisik I missed it. Sorry about that. Pays to engage brain before moving fingers.
-
Gee mate I hope you are not holding your breath. That has not happened it would seem since the practise match against the Pies. As to the last one I am not at all sure that is in the game plan. But I am struggling with what the game plan is trying to achieve so what would I know.
-
Hearing Neeld discuss him on the radio and remembering the suspension from pre season I think CS is on very thin ICE. I get the feeling that in Neelds eyes he needs a big season from here on or it is good night nurse come trade time. I have thought it for some time but his situation looks more like Trapper with every passing week

I agree jr I have said elsewhere that he did not want to be drafted outside of Adelaide. Came for the required first contract period then went home. No amount of money was going to change that. It was the plan pre the draft.
-
We will still be winless when we get to them? Not a good foundation to smash anyone
-
RN Whatever the result in your dream it has got to be way better than real life in 2012

20 years is a long time Bossdog how about "as many as Bennell"?

The only meaningless external appearance I want is the one after a win. Until then they are the worst team in the AFL
