WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
John Crow Batty replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
Funny watching him, body, arms and legs flailing about at all angles and then the ball suddenly pops out straight to a team mate. -

Just being facetious in tone with the thread title. Lighten up. -

In WA, they are banana snobs. They think those small uninviting Carnarvon bananas are the only ones worth eating. -

Should Hogan be made to take some responsibility for inducing panic? -

One of the main reasons I ended up following Melbourne and not the filth in my pre school days. BTW Leonard Joel are having an auction of the great man's treasures sometime in August or September I think. -

I find Lapsang Souchong tea leaves in a translucent eggshell porcelain tea cup best for tea leaf reading. The pungent smoky aroma goes hand in hand with all the smoke and mirrors of trade talk. -
I have gotten disapproving looks and comments from my school teacher mother in law and wife when I drive past there as say it like it is. Looks like a place Colonwood supporters will feel comfortable in.

I don't think his family would blab out the truth unless the recipient is one of the closest confidants of the family. We did hear a lot of crap and disinformation coming out of the Scully camp. If Neale is intent on leaving I doubt he might fit our requirements if Brayshaw, Petracca and Oliver continue to improve. Freo will put a high price on him even if they are desperate to secure Hogan. There is the possibility of a three or four club super deal where someone like Hurley may come into the picture if Hogan decides to leave.
-
So six more veils to go.
-
If Hogan does go to Freo he will end up as a goal kicking harlot and premiership virgin like Lockett, Richo, Pavlich and many others. He has been warned.
-
You might have to google "rugby league confessions". Should come up at top of the news page.
-
Read this. Only a fool would believe it doesn't happen in AFL. Freo have some big mining magnates backing them who can deliver a dump truck full of cash. I don't think we have those heavyweight supporters. http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/rugby-leagues-dirty-secret-confessions-of

I believe as a rule of thumb, with the exception of Cloke, that these moving rumours that never seem to die down usually turn out to be true. FFS what interest does Hogan have to not kill it now? I don't think it is all about money like with Cloke.
-
Will it shut down or perhaps someone else will take it over? I know a few other forums that are being marginalised up by the accursed Facebook.

Tania seems to have disappeared. Once ubiquitous public support for her husband hasn't happened for about 8 months or more. Maybe the rumour's are true. But true to form JH has found another relative to spout for him.

Embarrassing they are. Hird senior said his son wants the documents released so the truth can come out. Would be nice if James would tell the world the truth as he has been threatening to do for a long time. He didn't even show the courtesy of providing his ASADA interview transcripts to the court for his law suit against the club insurers. And the comparison with the Lindy Chamberlain saga is laughable. Hird has been charged with nothing and Lindy spent years in jail. Perhaps James Hird should be now known as Lindy Hird.
-
That sums it all up.

Not really, the way we lost to the Saint's was more about how we played rather than what they did. We did push North to the limit also but under difficult conditions in Tassie. The Saints also had the advantage of playing at Doom & Gloom Stadium.
-
So the other two umpires paid 11-11 between them. The discrepancy seems too extreme to explain away as just normal statistical variance.

THe Hawks have been 'gettable' early in the season for the past few seasons. They don't seem to want to take on fast opponents too enthusiastically that have a red hot go at them. But they still have the game to win premierships. Once attrition removes the manic run of most teams their maintaining possession and controlling the pace game checkmates tired and crook legs come finals.
-
We have to string three or more wins together. Preferably starting now.

That is a huge difference from first to second. 50% + more than Nic Nat. Do you know where Goldstein and the other leading ruckmen are at?
