This team could be amazing you're right but i took the liberty of randomly choosing the 03 and 04 draft and looking at the top 10 picks 04 Priority 1 Brett Deledio Murray Bushrangers Richmond Priority 2 Jarryd Roughead Gippsland Power Hawthorn Priority 3 Ryan Griffen South Adelaide Football Club Western Bulldogs 1 4 Richard Tambling Southern Districts Football Club Richmond 1 5 Lance Franklin Perth Football Club Hawthorn 1 6 Tom Williams Morningside Football Club Western Bulldogs 1 7 Jordan Lewis Geelong Falcons Hawthorn 1 8 John Meesen Geelong Falcons Adelaide 1 9 Jordan Russell West Adelaide Football Club Carlton 1 10 Chris Egan Murray Bushrangers Collingwood Arguably, 4 of those players I would class as great footballers with Lewis probably unlucky not to be in that group. 03 Priority 1 Adam Cooney West Adelaide Football Club Western Bulldogs Priority 2 Andrew Walker Bendigo Diggers Carlton Priority 3 Colin Sylvia Bendigo Diggers Melbourne 1 4 Farren Ray Peel Thunder Football Club Western Bulldogs 1 5 Brock McLean Calder Cannons Melbourne 1 6 Kepler Bradley West Perth Football Club Essendon 1 7 Kane Tenace Murray Bushrangers Geelong 1 8 Raphael Clarke St. Mary's Football Club St. Kilda 1 9 David Trotter Calder Cannons Kangaroos 1 10 Ryley Dunn Murray Bushrangers Fremantle Here i consider 2 to be great footballers, Sylvia still needs to do abit im aware but of course melbourne bias There are 4 players in this top 10 that couldnt make VFL 1's teams and Bradley is a joke. I'm as concerned as the next guy that we may loose out to a team of cheaters and miss out flag but history says 2/3's to a half of their 13 picks will be shocking players! Cross our fingers

There were testers there at training today so I believe a few left session early to go and do that
-
Wow, Dibs on the team logo. Jeepers, im just shocked how the two of you stumbled across the same image. I suggest a battle to the death for ownership
-
Tell me which part of my post was not thought through properly. Mentioning that people speak before they think hit a nerve for the infamous RR who regularly has some 'contentious' calls
-
Haha some of you are ridiculous. You're so quick to say give this player time he's only a kid, give this ruckman more time he needs to develop yet as soon as it's a young mid or defender its expected he's just going to be drafted straight into elite. Dane Swan was shocking for 6 years. Guys like Strauss in particular along with Bail were drafted for their athletism and kicking ability with the idea to work on minor points of the game. Half of you have written off players with 2 years under their belt on one post someone said Trengrove might not make it because he'll end up too stocky. Seriously, think before we post

However, this is often because Volvo for example may be asking for the back logo on the jumper lets just use as an example. If a new sponsor comes in with more money obviously they will take that option. Changing sponsors isn't like changing coaches it's the money that is the real concern and as long as the total number is growing I couldn't give a flying you-who what the company is!

I sort of imagine E25 to be a big ogre in my head. I remember he mentioned somewhere he's in his 50's but you're certainly the "Collingwood" of Demonland. You've stopped talking [censored] though and behind the copious amount of stirring you enjoy you have some reasonable points occasionally. as for yze_magic. what a man

From what i was told by a mate when he trialled he made an absolute ass of himself. 2 days into his tryout at the club he got up with another fellow and spoke to the club how we will be winning a premiership together in 2 years then proceeded to tell a coach how they did a better drill at Hawthorn later on that day. Supposedly, was a certain not to be rookied even before he'd stepped out on the park. [censored]

Seriously guys come on! We've just copped the best possible draw we could have ever asked for. If we want the home games against the clubs that are currently better than us we need to play them twice which means a smaller chance of finals. If we play Collingwood, Saints, Geelong twice everyone gets on their high-horse that the AFL hates us. We have been given the best opportunity to make finals this year in regards to the fixture. Money revenue won't be great but if we are 6-2, 7-4 range nearing mid season believe me the crowd will be amazing come the second half regardless of the opposition. Lets worry about making finals and leave the off field stuff to the board!

This one could go either way. If we let him go he could put in a really good season at the right team but for mine, he isnt worth 2 years at the money he's asking. His skill set is great and his ability to win the ball is terrific but he lacks pure leg speed in a game that is getting quicker every year. I wouldn't be happy to let him go but two years should never have been on the table, ever.
-
We should hire him just because his name is Brenton IMO
-
Depends what areas you're working on. Putting some muscle into your upper legs and shoulders are the heaviest areas therefore will see the most weight gain in terms of muscle mass. If he was to do a preseason working on his core less weight would be gained. Interestingly, Pavlich is 102kgs and Riewoldt is 96. Pavlich is more of a one on one mark taker whereas Riewoldt needs to be running ive found to take a mark. Which version would you prefer a Pav Watts of a Riewoldt.

E, you've finally moved yourself onto the idea of a KPP. Over Smedts or just prefer the others. I like Darling. In every premiership team, theres a risk player. Collingwood went Leigh Brown and drafted Sidebottom earlier than expected. Geelong i would say is a moderate exception but Stuey Dew for Hawthorn is another. Darling is a risk i'd certainly be willing to take!

Well thats a killer. that ripped and got bullied on the ground. clearly needs to be arnie to assert his strength on the field then. next stop: creatine factory

Check this article in the sun and corresponding photo. He's not a small boy anymore. I'm happy with him out of the square and screw Hale! Happy Jack Watts's a lad for all seasons
-
they all went out last night and saw Rafa Nadal at the club they were at in China. Apparently beamer knew him from Melbourne and the Aus Open. New number one ticket holder for the dees?
-
My dad goes for Collingwood... Cooked
-
Guys half the people you have named will still be under contract next year. At least think about this before you post the people you think are the worst 5 in the team
-
Fwiw, i'd be drafting a KPF with pick 12 and not looking anywhere near a player under 189/90 kilos
-
Happy to admit i appear to be one of only a few who feel that the days of best available are over however i'm just keen on hearing why people think its the better option. I agreed with the policy of years gone by, however we are no longer a 'rebuilding' club. We have most pieces in place now we just need development and certain areas fixed. Thats why i think we now need to draft for needs. I really hope if Lynch and Smedts are both on the board at 12 we choose Lynch even though Smedts is probably the 'better' player. Who knows, the FD know what they are doing but its my 2 cents
-
Well im already in the next game, and im calling out deesforspoon to man up on me for the game. i look forward to this
-
look at the bloke. hes 15 and hes got a rig like no other. will be attractive with him and scully in the bottom of packs firing out handballs to recievers. yum
-
Bingo. Very interesting to see who goes etc etc. Next year however pj newton both should be gone. done. hopefully either bennell or strauss can dethrone bartram i dont think hes an essential cog. he can get traded for a 40odd. Maric can go, got plenty of him, then i dont want anything to do with Mcnamara. thats more than enough leaving for mine
-
I'd believe school. He was at carey before he went over to Adelaide so i'd be guessing they'll be giving him a scholarship to come back. Like i said its not from the horses mouth but its from someone close, who i consider to be a decent source so just hope its true. Could do with 5cms, but other than that he's just a beautiful footballer. a left foot alot like andrew gaff's whos about to be drafted. Just beauty in motion

Take it with a grain of salt, however heard that whilst on his trip to Melbourne last month or whenever it was that Viney committed to a deal to 2015 with Melbourne knowing that they would take him father son. Probably not news given most people now know hes coming but anything goes on here these days so there it is.
