I would have thought that if Ablett is to sit in the forward line (as many media pundits seem to be saying), then someone like Dunn or Jetta should sit on him (not sure Salem would have the smarts/experience or strength just yet).

I got a few good laughs out of it... it's just standard comedy roast fare and all good harmless fun. Makes for a good break from the usual training regime which can't be a bad thing.

Now this is where (and possibly why) things can get out of hand in these forums... people jumping to conclusions based on, essentially, nothing. You go from asking a question ("if you mean...") to definitively stating his contract extension as fact ("Skipper Jones was the first to sign off then the likes of JKH, Salem and Brayshaw and now Petracca all signed extensions"). While it would be nice if he has extended, there is nothing on the club site, nothing on Twitter, nothing on Facebook to say so... just a one liner on this site from some anonymous person.

That was 5 frees over three games (less than 2 per game)... I wouldn't have thought that was excessive for a defender considering the pressure that players forward and back are under.

I'm not sure I understand the gist of your post. You seem to be having a go at the club for turning out a substandard campaign (which I strongly disagree with, by the way) but you seem inspired to go yourself. Do you think you're the only supporter going? Advertising campaigns won't get people going to games but they will raise awareness levels and if the club can back that up with a few early wins, those people who are now more aware of teh brand may then decide it's time to take out a membership. Oh, and my young son and I are traveling down from Sydney to see the game (and we won't even see the campaign on our screen).

That's the funny thing, they sent the technician to check whether it could be done just for the one apartment with no impact on anyone else... apparently it could and so they did it with no requirement to contact the body corporate. I think they only get involved if there will be a cost and major work involved.
