Most frustrating thing with Watts is his reluctance to kick it through the big sticks! But with time will come confidence. He's still doing some great things.

The temptation to flame you for that one is great, I must say.

The only major disappointment for me was Jurrah. His defensive efforts are becoming a major issue. Great teams in the modern game apply intense defensive pressure in their forward 50 and he's simply not pulling his weight. He's a star but needs a kick up the arse on this facet of his game.

6. Syliva (clear standout..also his goal busting through the pack was a thing of beauty) 5. Garland (MONSTER effort, who stands a chance at getting a clean pair of hands on the pill when this guy is on song?) 4. McKenzie (handled the slippery conditions as good as anyone out there) 3. Jamar (usual candidate) 2. Frawley (ditto) 1. Dunn (showed great composure when needed) Apolgoies to Bartram. He's moulded himself into a key part of our defence and once again produced some great head over the footy stuff but his poor disposal was a bit more noticeable than last week.

Anyone who would begrudge us this win can get stuffed.

He also singled out Frawley, Garland and Bartram as illustrations of speed in rebounding out of defence being one of our great strengths. He's a class act no doubt.

Jones seems like such a genuine bloke. Don't know if anyone else saw the piece that Gerard Healy did on him which gave an insight into his life outside of football, but he's the kinda guy you feel proud to have wearing the Demons jumper.

The game thread in the Swans section on bigfooty is good stuff too. The hatred toward's Bruce's emotional commentary is hilarious.

Jurrah was doing it after the game as well.

I must admit I enjoy taking a sneaky look at other club forums. Tigerland in particular was fun to browse when they were languishing down the bottom with no light at the end of the tunnel. Good for a chuckle.. One thing I've noticed and found interesting is how highly other supporters seem to rate Bate. Much higher than many of our own supporters seem to, myself included. Yet his name continually pops up when our best players are being mentioned.

Bartram had a blinder as well. Am loving his work. Tried his guts out all day and won some great contested footy.

As controversial a figure as he's been, it will be a shame if this is the way in which he exits league footy.

Hopefully someone who can kick better than Brown as well...

I'm guessing you took quite amount of pleasure from J-Mac's hit on him then....as did we all. Crazy game. The margin between us and them in the second half was just as great as the margin between them and us in the first half. That game was crying out to be won but we just couldn't put it to bed. Good teams slot home their set shots when it counts and we didn't/couldn't. We'll shake this 4 quarter syndrome one day. As annoying as it was, there was still alot to take away from it and I'm now very much looking forward to us taking on the Swans at the G. ..and Bater's got to go. Even Greeny has had enough.

I actually quite like Fremantle. Maybe it's because I empathise with them as being the whipping horse of practically every other team for several years, and so enjoy watching them finally stick it up em.

Dangerfield would've been a fantastic get. The fact he has the best surname in the AFL should've been enough. Am happy with all our selections though. Morton will be a star.

Freo were horrible against the Tiges with some extremely poor finishing and major brain explosions happening at both ends of the park. Ballantyne in particular had the worst game I've seen him play, and without him firing they definitely lack something up forward. Point is that they will be looking to bounce back in style against us, but then again, they said that about Essendon...

Tigers fans are the worst when it comes to this. Well, them and Swans fans...but they don't know any better.
