  1. Once the 3rd league = Rookie league is full, that is it,we are done. All coaches will need to confirm themselves .Going on past experiences there has been one or two dropout just before the season gets under way. If this happens this year, it wont hurt to put your name forward as a late replacement, on standy. Failing that, you are on your own.
  2. Your DT team name is your choice, if you are happy with it ,go with it.
  3. no problem, I hope you enjoy the competition.
  4. Of course, no team / player is perfect. But we can ill afford to have someone handball / kick thats misdirected and under no pressure. This why they have been clamping down on it at training, I have been too a few training sessions, they have stepped it up in all areas, and when I see a players kick end up 30 metres from the intended target, i have been hanging my head. If it was just the odd one or two, NP, We havent got the cattle to cover sprayed handballs or kicks, Its not the end of the world, but its an area that needs more work.

He nominated for the draft again in 1992 and was picked up mid-season by Melbourne from his then club Rochester. Almost immediately he made his debut and established a place in the side, often on the wing. An inaccurate kick at goal, his 44 career goals were surpassed by his 60 behinds. When Febey played his 100th AFL game in 1997, he and his twin brother Steven Febey became the first pair of twins in the history of the league to both achieve the feat. He appeared in six finals matches during his career, including the Preliminary Finals of 1994 and 1998. After managing just two games in 2000 due to hamstring and finger injuries, he announced his retirement.
  8. daisycutter!!! U BLOODY LEGEND! That is a really good get. I would love to hear how you worked that out.
  9. I have noticed this as well. Its a bit concerning. Sloppy disposal will kill us everytime. Being a training session as opposed the real thing, its been my biggest worry up to this point. Its something you cant' say will improve during a real game. If anything, its going to get worse. The offenders have been pulled up for it. Its disappointing to hear it is still continuing.
  10. There are 8 spots left in the rookie league.
  11. Now for a tougher quiz. I'll give you something to think about. Who am I ......... (1st Clue) I am like mirrors and reflections. Just like a porsche, and I am no longer in New York. I am .....?

  13. I almost had Stinger in this quiz, But I changed my mind.
  14. Next year the "Demonland Legends" League will be made up from the top 18 scores. The " Demonland AllStars" League will be made up from the next best 18 scores The 3rd league (couldnt think of a name off the top of my head at time), so for now its the "Rookies" League. (if required) To make this work, at the end of this season I will require everyones total score for this year, then place everyone in the appropriate Leagues. That makes for a more even league. But this is depending on who continues etc. I will post all the coaches in the Legends League and the AllStars League soon. From that I need everyone to ID themselves with their Demonland user name to their team name, so I know who is who for next year. ATM I require someone to jump into the Legends League, if anyone in the AllStar league or the Rookie League wants to change, pm me I'll pass on the code for that league. When the Legends league is also full (1 short atm) I will post all the coaches we have at it stands. I hope all that makes sense. PS: anyone that isnt in any of the 3 leagues atm, PM me I'll send you the code to join for the legends league.
  15. Time for a new quiz. This one is fairly straight forward. Who am I ......... (1st Clue) An non football related injury threathened to end my career I am .....?
  16. May I suggest you grab a photo. of Jeremy Howes' mark of the year,2012, (or similar) hang that next to your team photo. Then not only does that set it apart from rugby, but more questions may follow.
  17. I can't help but think the $cullys had a whinge in her ear (RFC loyaties) and tipped her over the edge.
  18. I was wondering what you say to your fellow compatroits. 1 : You tell everyone now follow Melbourne, they then think your loyalites lay with Boston 2: If he say you follow the Demons, you leave yourself open for some wacko preacher demanding you denounce youself and sign up for some racial christian faith. 3: Then there's the Reglegs leaving you open for some sort of fanatic, relating to the Civil war. This leaves you with 2 options, shutup, or go with the "Dees" You will notice when your membership card arrives. if you check the fine print on the back of the card it is missing a few details. Apart from the obvious... red and blue etc There wont be any instructions regarding the recommended temp to nuke this card in your microwave. (should they have a bad run,or you dont agree with the running of the club) And it will be also missing a local phone number, to have 2 tonnes of chicken manure dumped outside of the main doors on the footy office. (local fact / joke) -- See Richmond FC membership card as an example. Welcome and enjoy the journey!!
  19. I agree, I think WJ was finally onto it. I was relucant to name St.Peter in that clue. I had a feeling our resident snoop dog, would latch on to that reference lol But credit to yourself for working it out, nice work
  20. Both Demonland leagues are close to full. 1 spot left in the Legends League. I require someone to transfer from the AllStars League into the Legends. That will open 2 spots in the AllStars League. There is a 3rd league availbale should it be required.. 3rd DT league -- enter this code 671003
