Collingwood thought they were getting like for like with Lynch snd Dawes but with a better ruckman and draft pick to boot....they took a risk and my have lost out as Dawes has his best footy infront of him

What if it was a foreign cyclist or Chinese swimmer making that statement before competing against Australians. The nation would be up in arms demanding the athlete step down.

Maybe we can offer them a ruck man for him,ni guess it depends what other clubs offer GWS for him as well

The mini draft was designed and inteded for GWS to top up their list with quality mature players and what did they end up doing? All they accepted for them was draft picks. They took the Suns' first pick each time for O'Meara and Martin. They took Adelaide's first pick for Crouch. They also took Melbourne's first pick and their second for Hogan and Barry. So if the mini draft is going to be used to stockpile more picks there is no use ... might as well give clubs priority picks. Perhaps they just shouldn't give priority picks in the first round any more. Second round maximum which might entice a few more clubs to on trade them or they can use them to pick up a kid with out upsetting the rest of the competition too much either

Ross Lyon implementateda similar plan at Freo and it worked the previous week to obtain a draw against Sydney while they were undermanned too. So not sure that the zone doesn't work, but if the pressure isn't high enough for long enough even Collingwood end up looking like Melbourne.

My thoughts with Gillies was that he is selected as the third emergency for several reasons - firstly he is more versitile than Pedersen as he can play small and tall. Secondly, maybe coming back from his injury they thought he might benift from anotehr light weekend not playing VFL, and thirdly, maybe they are taking arisk that Gillies will not have to play and Pedersen can keep working on his game at Casey and push for a recall the following week.

To get better we can not allow any of our top 25 players to leave the club currently, expcially those that will still be in our best 25 in the next 3 years. Frawley, Watts and Sylvia are automatically in our top 22 currently. Gawn has pushed himself into the top 25 after a bad run with his knees. We can't afford to let any of these players go and need to keep trying to improve the list through draft picks, development and blokes who are squeezed out of other clubs such as Dawes was.

AndrewvRaines came runner up in the rising star award. Some players hit the ground running, Brock did it for us when we first drafted him.

Tapscotts defensive pressure seems to be better this year in teh forward 50 as well. Hoefully it is a sign he is getting his body right, thus can train more and get fitter. Liked a couple of his legal, hard bumps that gave the opposition a bit of a rattle as well. That is a sign of him learning to be aggressive in a controlled manner.

Requires a lot more funding to provide the adequate clinical data to prove safety and efficacy or injectables than a cream. I wonder if a few of the metroAFL footballers realize that there is peptides in some of the very expensive anti-aging creams?

TGA lists regulations for OTCs and another set for cosmetics where there is a new industrial or potent chemicals. Pretty require clinical data to prove that the side effects aren"t worse than than the positive effects work also all claims made are backed by clinical data.

It has not just been banned as an injectable....it has always been banned as it was never approved in the first place. It is ok as a cream as comes under cosmetic regulations

If JT just used a cream I think he would be ok as it falls under the cosmetic regulations. Essendon players are in trouble because they are alleged to have injected the drug of interest.

Exact same thoughts. Cameron was their go too forward last Sunday and he didn't get near it. The lack of pressure on teh ball carries this season has enabled opposition midfielders the ability to hit targets better. Thus reducing the ability of our defenders to spoil adn/or beat their opponents. Plus in regards to a trade deal already agreed to, if he wanted out adn the club knew why would he be in the leadership group - that doesn't make sense? You would think all of those in the leadership grou will at least be working towards long term goals for the club as well.

One solitary game in the bests is not enough yet. He will get his chance.

Kent won't come in. After watching the VFL on teh weekend, what he does good looks really good. However, he seems to lack impact for 4 quarters. I think he needs some more development time at the VFL. But I understand why people are calling for him to be put in as he has some great raw attributes.

Should never knock back someone who wants to help. Just need him directed to where he can help most

I wonder if Darling would be good in our side or just useless like the rest of our blokes have been. No forwad thrives with the lack of oppurtunities our forwards have recieved this year.
