Good to see Verrall doing well.

I liked the way Clarry flew to Max’s defence after Soldo roughed him up.

Towards the end of the 2021 season ANB had a free kick for goal about 40 metres out on the boundary. 
He kicked a banana right through the middle.

The Dees never looked back thereafter.

I remember Kelvin Templeton coming across to Melbourne as a champion full forward.

Jeka has just turned 22, is a maturing big man and yet to reach his potential. 
He has talent, was chosen at #9 and is worth a close look.

Anyone else remember Kelvin Templeton.?

The Maynard incident reminds me of Mark Yeats shirtfronting an unsuspecting Dermott Brereton in the ‘89 Grand Final.

Both incidents were in the opening minutes, as if planned.

His Mens Rea wasn’t too flash when Jack Viney fronted him.

It appears to me that Maynard took no evasive action that would lessen the impact of an imminent airborne collision.

The AFL must give the appropriate penalty and show they have low tolerance for reckless events leading to concussion.

Six weeks out would be a moderate penalty.

Yze might be better placed to bide his time at the Dees rather than coach interstate or coach ‘no hopers.’

Burgess is being  praised for having the Crows in peak condition.

Does his methods allow for any goal kicking? 

Port Adelaide showed arrogance and disrespect by dropping seven players in their match with Carlton.

They might find that their previous good form is not so easy to switch back on.

He’s not the combative beast like JVR but he only has to complement such leaders, not compete with them.

He’s skilful, aged ~ 26 and for a big man it’s about his time.

He couldn’t do any worse than Smith and Brown.

I’d give him a decent chance of proving himself. Fritsche is out for weeks and Schache can kick a goal.

Schache down the front would straighten us up.

Unseasonably cold this Sunday in Alice Springs with temperatures ranging from a 1 degree minimum to a max of 11 degrees with some chance of rain.

They should update to the  A 10 Warthog.

It is a superior fighter/scrapper.

No doubt the four points count.

But there’s more to be gained by beating Collingwood when they’re at full strength.
