Hope they spend so much on us they give you even worse service

First thing I've liked about their club. Hopefully the scum's career is over and he never has to sing it.
-
Let me guess, the next 20 posts were from whining North fans complaining that he had them so low on the ladder.

Just watched the game against West Coast at Subi in 1990. Classic scenes with him and Grinter 'saluting' the crowd.

Website is still in disarray. According to Facebook you can email them for 'orders of 10 DVDs or less' but there's no way they're going to turn back your money if you email them with more. Will take that route if site is still crocked tomorrow morning.

So was Bolte a legit MFC fan or just a tourist?

Forget the rest of the video and Bruce waffling on about how great the stadium is. Best Channel Seven opening/best thing ever done by a boy band who were never heard of again.
-
Wow, just shut the place down. Breakdown of people who look at team photos: 99% fans of that club 1% people who googled the wrong thing

praha123 and StillWoewodin22 must have been on suicide watch in 2008 if they're this unhappy now.

I'll try not to get excited if we're winning the Prelim with seconds to go...

I don't mind that lineup but no way they're dumping Rivers from the LG after he finished 2nd in the B&F (although I'm not sure how that happened). I'll leave Watts out for him. -

Bailey always gave more inspiring speeches which were followed by us being rubbish. Couldn't care less how they present as long as they can coach - and that won't be clear until the season starts.

Flat AGM's are ok. Means that we're not going over the top saying how great we are but also that we're not all slashing our wrists and having nervous breakdowns about the fate of the club. Satisfied we're in a good place off-field. Now for on-field.
-
I'm sure the culture question didn't come out as he'd hoped. Too worked up. Interesting diversion into AGM angst.

Can't go past 9.

I've got chuff all to swap but if you're keen on anything else off that list I can get those and do a trade.

Hate and despise it more than anything else in the game except $cully. I want our list of available players to either be playing seniors or reserves - not 30 minutes of one game after which half the time they're dropped for failing to make adequate impact in the middle of the match. These are highly paid professionals and I couldn't give a continental what wonky, rigged stats the league bring out about injuries I want to see them play, not wander up and down the sidelines in a vest and ride exercise bikes. If they want to stamp their legacy on the game and change things for the sake of it (and my god do they enjoy doing that) then I'd rather it be three on the bench with no sub. At least then you know the players who have been named will get a fair run at it. Worst justification for mine is how it's great for teams who have early injuries. Tough luck if you have an injury! It's a game of variables with a rigged draw and a ball that is designed to go any which way at any given time. Especially with four on the bench if you're a good team you won't be put away by losing one guy, and a bit of luck here and there for rubbish teams makes the game more interesting. No chance for a change while rotten politicians like Demetriou are in charge though.

Just send a chunky list to them asking whether these games are available in the sale. Will update when they get back to me in case anybody else is interested. Nathan Jones @ Cold Rock Caroline Springs Ice Creamery... TOMORROW
Supermercado replied to shanie's topic in Melbourne Demons
The Glenferrie Rd Cold Rock gave me one of those calendars for free. Obviously nobody told the kid working behind the counter she was supposed to sell them for charity. -
Maybe if he was no good as a defender... but fortunately for us he's an absolute gun. Still, I'm not again desperation switches and random five minutes moves to throw the opposition off when nothing else works.

Thought they were taking the proverbial for a second there before clicking through and realising the AFL 'legend' is actually cheap shot merchant Michael Long.

Many have, including Stefan Martin and Rohan Bail off our current list.
