Port Adelaide v Melbourne NAB Cup Week 4

My favourite bit was Watts being 'rested' as a conspiracy because we don't have a game next week but Alipate Carlisle being rested is a sensible manoeuvre. -
List is always one bloke's subjective view presented as news but one thing always gets me - no matter how bad other clubs get they always seem to have at least one player floating around the middle of the rankings whereas for the last five years we've been lucky to sneak one guy into the very lower reaches of it. Where's our superstar coming from?

Needs to cheer up.

I used to like Quartermain until three or four years ago, then overnight he made me want to kick the TV in. Not as much as Russell and Tony Shaw mind you... Still like Huddo but this sort of thing is so subjective that I suspect nobody else does.

What, no photos of Des O'Dwyer??? There's a button on the demonwiki homepage to donate to the running costs OR alternatively (and less shamefully for me) you can click the Demonblog ads EARLY AND OFTEN whenever you visit and all the funds raised from that go towards the hosting.

Citizens, I've gathered pictures for almost every Demon to play a senior match since 1980 but I'm trying to fill the collection and improve a few of the '90's ones that have been taken from low res-scans. Fairly happy there's only 10 players of the last 30 years who I've got absolutely no images of but there are plenty that need to be improved. Hoping somebody has some magazines, team photos, reports, newspapers or obscure documentation with images of the players with no pictures or a decent hi-res scan of the others so I can replace them. Obviously some of the 80's names are so obscure that I'm never expecting to have a pic of them but if Trevor Castles just happens to be your next door neighbour feel free to ask him if he's got a decent shot of himself in the MFC uniform. 1980's David Allday - better quality Jamie Barham - better quality Shane Braddy Trevor Castles Darryl Cox - better quality Andrew Dale Russell Dickson Roger Ellingworth Ross Fisher Len Gandini - better quality Michael Howard Trevor Korn Dave McGlashan - larger Stuart McKenzie Jeremy Nichols - better quality Des O'Dwyer Michael Reynolds - better quality Greg Sizer - better quality Scott Sutcliffe - larger John Tossol 1990's Bradley Campbell - better quality Greg Doyle - better quality Phil Egan - better quality Fabian Francis - better quality Robert Hickmott - better quality Rod Owen - better quality Michael Pickering - better quality Scott Simister - better quality Also looking for shots of various jumper numbers http://demonwiki.org/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=26 This should be a lot easier....

Agree with the post, retched at the title.

Surely they're not still going with this out-of-bounds free kick bollocks?

Will be a shocking call but better than nothing. Surprised it took Foxtel so long to give up on showing the practice matches. Guess they decided an Empty Stadium Match between two of the worst sides of 2011 wasn't worth sending their callers over for. Shame, one less opportunity for Dwayne Russell to end up in a barrel. -
You think still waiting for the order is bad, I'm still waiting for them to ask me to pay! I've spoken to them and have been assured I'm most definitely in the queue but god knows when the actual DVD's will turn up. Still, for the price paid I'm not concerned.

Even if it had stayed purely Victorian no way Fitzroy and South would still be around. Lucky if they weren't followed by several others too.

Want to see CRUMB from Lawrence.

When does the Footy Show come back on? *conspiracy*

Two on the interchange and two subs rule

Vile. It's bad enough wasting one player on the bench for 3/4 of a match without doing it with two. I don't care how much a game "opens up" (cliche) if it's because the players can barely move. But the bad news is that the AFL knows coaches and the vast majority of fans will cop whatever we're offered because we've got nowhere else to go. Hopefully the players can stop it. -
That was where Rod Grinter came from!

If it meant running a minibus full of nuns off the side of a road then I'm with you. A few blokes off their chuff on coke on the other hand I could not care less about if it ends in glory.
-
Two novelty games in rubbish conditions. Reopen thread next week when we've at least played four real quarters and players aren't dreading the ball going out of bounds.
-
I'd love our players to be off their nut on everything going if it meant a flag.

Any danger of putting Dwayne up against a wall and shooting him? Would make a great one-off special.

Moloney to Essendon half-baked rumour..?

Good to see people think we're at the point where we can afford to start getting rid of experienced midfielders...- 71 replies

And when they did trade with St Kilda they cleaned them up. Not that anyone could guess Lovett would play nil....- 71 replies

Thank god it was somebody outside who calls us the "next superpower", what an embarassing statement to have hanging over us.
