Should be a classic battle between two sides who have no idea what to do when the other team get a run on.
-
Should I be getting excited about Cook or are the Bullants just doing what you expect a 1-6 team to do? Is he on a Carlton player or some 17-year-old? Still, good signs. Also pleased to hear Davis is doing well.
-
How come they're not allowing comments on that article? Perhaps because everyone will point out that he might have been a playing 'legend' but a coaching disaster.
-
We were within 14 of Geelong in the third quarter there too.
-
Mainly because they all leave thinking footy is the easiest game ever and then run into a team that cares. Tommy Walsh was the ultimate proof of that.
-
Worst thing about the thread is the attention grabbing headline. Then you open it and it's just suggesting we're going to trade him. If you'd had an argument why he'll be out of the league in two years it might be interesting, but as it is it's a Billy No Mates style cry for help.

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly but you can't say Sylvia hasn't made it and then say Gysberts has. He might have turned up when he wanted for the last few years but he's still played more good games than the Gys has in total.
-
Surely he's not just doing it out of the goodness of his own heart... If we're there the support has already been drummed.
-
It's still not as bad as the flag being hoisted before a game, that was a low. We get what we deserve with the trumpeteer because people clap along with it and generally love it. Cringeworthy.

Surely sending a reply email doesn't even get read considering it comes from a mass mailing program.

The only problem we had with not doing psychological testing when selecting our coach was that it wasn't done on the players.
-
Given that we've got the worst kicking efficiency in the competition I'm not sure I'm getting too excited.

Message from the President...

What's Healy had to do with us since he did a $cully in '85? -
Don't let this distract you from the cavalcade of abuse he richly deserves in Round 13.

Make a Stand and Boycott next Sundays Game,Send a Message

Correct, one or two people will seize a microphone and yell a bit but otherwise there'll be nothing. 'Problem' is that it's always held in the pre-season so they can hide behind the optimism of the new season instead of people raring to tear the house down a couple months after the season finishes. Smart but takes the fun out of it. -

After reading threads like this I'm really looking forward to wild scenes at the AGM next year. -
I'd be for if if we could replace the entire list - not five or six players.

Surely Stef is only playing for match fitness before he returns next week. -

I'd like to ask Neeld for an off the record list of the players who are spoilt brats he wishes would rack off. -
It's not her you toaster.

How would they be able to tell the difference? Would be like the Hawthorn game where nobody was there anyway. Better to turn up and go ape. -
Yeah, butchering the administrators will help our players hit a target.
-
Players who can't hit the simplest of targets by foot should be shown the requisite skills first hand while they're being kicked to death. It's unfortunate that the AFL website only shows Disposal Efficiency and not separate kick/handball efficiencies because a lot of our players are padding that stat with dinky handballs that mean nothing and then botching every second kick. The coaching staff would know, but sadly you can't drop everyone - and even more sadly the replacements are usually just as bad. As for people who think "the coaching clock is ticking" spare me. It's not 1978, coaches don't get sacked after one year. He must have time to show the door to players who are past it or don't want to be there and get his own players in. Those who have never bothered to refute the claims by their managers that they're "testing the waters" can be the first to go, hopefully as their contract value plummets like the Greek economy.

Thread was always going to end in tragedy.
