How much are we paying him for it? If the answer is anything other than token amounts then who gives a toss? Easy not to watch.

Help AFL in NSW by using The Telegraph
Supermercado replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
If having a team specially created and steered towards a glorious future for them can't help nothing can. But I respect the dodging of the paywall. -
If there's data/pictures etc.. that need to be saved/archived I'm happy to host it as part of Demonwiki. Somebody PM me if there are any more details.

I like how it's ok to dress up as a Buddhist and make a [censored] of yourself. Next time show up in blackface and see what happens.

Wouldn't hurt my enjoyment of the footy if the players just ran out and started playing without the banner being involved.

Throw Monopoly Money at $cully on Sunday
Supermercado replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'd rather see offensive banners hoisted. Would be a much longer lasting memory than somebody throwing pissy little bits of paper that will fly 1cm before flapping around in the wind and dropping sadly to the floor. Besides, St Kilda fans did it already. What they didn't do was LYON FILTH banners in the stands. -
Shelve the Cloke idea, let's get Jonno Patton ...
Supermercado replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
I reckon I saw this exact same thread but with John Butcher in the title towards the end of last year. -
Highlight is the players getting blind before the last game.
-
Please to be keeping it in one area of the stadium so that I can avoid it.

Melbourne gets better of Tom Scully trade
Supermercado replied to Demon2's topic in Melbourne Demons
I wasn't aware we'd 'traded' $cully. Didn't know being compensate for a scumbag walking out on us counted as being involved in a trade. And some people pay good money for the Herald Sun. You might as well give your $1.10 to somebody in the street who actually needs it. -
<team name> *clap* *clap* *clap*

Bags being some TNA figure with his dignity still remaining. Unfortunately not sure there is one.
-
Thread highlight was Dennis Jordan of Pakenham throwing in a random cheap-shot at Gillard. It was like a letter to the Herald Sun 50/50 column.

At least if you're new to BigFooty now you won't be saddened by the shambolic redesign they've just done (but to be fair the functionality of it is better).

One of the worst theories ever floated on this board. Thank god the whole thing got the dick, I was all set to put the cue in the rack and find a better way to spend my winter if it went through. Everyone who is still sad that we didn't end up as the Hawks can mend your broken heart singing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMkfpQJVSqI

The boots just keep getting laid into that meme. Poor bastard who came up with it must be shattered.

Is that because he's Italian? Nice

Nearly spewed with relief after the final siren. Good times.

WINNER: Goose of the Year ... David King
Supermercado replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
Gerard Healy deserves a mention for claiming none of our young players would re-sign. GFS Gerard you 80's turncoat! -
I really fail to see what Sheedy would have done with the wreck of a list provided in 2008 other than roll in a couple of rubbish recycled players a'la Aaron Henneman. Maybe we'd have been a bit better the next year but you'd be on the gear to think that our list in '09 was anything but bottom four no matter who the coach was. Then it's down to drafting and we all know how good we are at that.
-
Certainly not suggesting that CM is representative of any other player! He needs to be locked inside a KFC.
-
Would we have got Mark Williams thrown in to do the actual coaching?
-
Other knee wasn't it? It would be terrible either way but at least mentally he might be able to make something of it being the same knee.

Problem is that Morton has ruined the assumption that players will eventually put on weight for everyone. Just like Jamar turning out to be good six years later means we'll never be able to write off a ruckman quickly ever again.
