  1. I see more upside in toumpas then many others he has elite skills something most footballers arnt born with but with those skills he is absouletly determined to be an elite player add our new football department and imo we have a true superstar on our list mark my words he will be a star!
  2. Im certain for no other reason then its the right thing our pp will be end of first round anything earlier is just not fare on the other 17 clubs that have managed their clubs better then ours yes we need help but its prooven draft picks in particular the earlier ones have not helped
  3. I thought dean kent showed alot also. imo terlich was the most consistant jones tried hard but kent has great speed and really takes the game on as well as defending and tackling
  4. No priority pick for me thanks no mini draft no concessions just get the off field [censored] right and develope the players we have and recruit in the future draft picks arnt the problem its what we have done once they start full time employement with the club
  5. I think watts is the perfect example of where this club is at and given the right leadership how quickley we can turn things around. Yep he looks lost and uninterested but at times throughout the year most have (at least lost that is) with some exceptions. Yeah we could trade him but we need a quality player in return just cant see us getting a decent deal for what we really need in the caliber of a dangerfield, ziebel or that quality midfielder we despetatly require. Some will disagree and say he is not worth it but in the current environment who at our club is absouletly thriving? Keep watts if we can convince him to stay and get the best possible people around him lets see how quick things can turn around if that doesn't work then well....... [censored] knows
  6. Is the priority pick more likeky to be before our first pick or end of first round?
  7. Doubt it he hasnt even got a rising star award yet! Hard working player but not the silkiest
  8. im with you my clear choice was a good coach at both sydney and bulldogs still has alot to offer and good developer of kids prooven!
  9. The problem is not toumpas as we all know it's this cancer riddled club he is gifted games he should not be getting would he be playing at Sydney? If I had a young draftee coming through I'd be pretty disappointed if he were selected to MFC terrible place to
  10. I am like many on here a very very passionate member but honestly I'm not angry bitter or disappointed much anymore just loosing interest in this football club I've already lost two of my kids to other clubs and my young fella at 3 won't be far behind. That's the sad part that I can't even convince my kids there is any sort of hope
  11. Hard to even call this group a team just do not work for each other and hardly see anyone run hard enough.
  12. Need to get on board a superannuation company an industry that's going to get bigger in the next few years and going to be heavily pushed
  13. Best thing we have going at the club at this stage. We are at rock bottom finally someone who will not settle for second best I really hope this guy hangs around and gets the full support of the board not many will survive after years end and we will be starting from as far back as the expansion clubs probably further
  14. I'm all for trading pick 2 and IMO we should target Ryan Griffen he is exactly what we need
  15. What about Ryan Griffen from the dogs should be our number 1 target absolute quality player forget daisey and dal santo
  16. Probably because it hasn't been played?
  17. Never stopped believing! defended him even when he wasn't defendable will he be a star I hope so but that will largely depend on the team around him
  18. I'm with you not knowing or having any inside info but my take is the AFL have stepped in considerably over the past 6 weeks as they can not afford any more negative publicity with the MFC. I think they have been wording up Paul Roos for quite a while and he will be financially looked after and supported by the afl. I don't have a clear choice but I can't see any negatives with Roo's at this stage
  19. I like many have been 50/50 stay or go. But in reality the MFC have destroyed another career regardless if he or Bailey where initially the correct choices they were both treated very poorly. We now move on again but I must say I'm impressed with the CEO he is class. No more Gary Lyon please and IMO our biggest issue was Cameron Schwab the club now has a pretty fresh slate with some quality people and players but improvement on and off the field must start now
